Hi,

I´m starting a thread about CQG Trader. Yesterday I saw the webinar and now I´m testing the software. Perhaps someone could answer some questions I have.
First of all I would like to know if I can move the bid ladder to the left and add the volume traded per price to the DOM as we can see it in this video from the CQG IC - DOM: ‪NoBSDayTrading.com - short trade - June, 2011 webinar recording‬‏ - YouTube
Then I´m missing the actual volume that´s coming through at each price.
Any ideas?

Thanks,

Malvolio

Hi,

I think both these options are available on the Integrated, not on the Trader.

Hi Rani,

ok, it seems so. CQG Trader could really be a good DOM but without these futures....

Regards,

Malvolio

one problem with it is that if you are in Europe and trade Eurex - CQG Trader will connect you to a US routing server. not for scalping

ups, I didn´t know that. Are you sure? I thought that they have a server in Frankfurt too since CQG offers direkt markt access.

they have gateways next to exchanges. but order routing servers arent gateways. they have one in london but that is only for CQG IC.

thats the problem with cqg trader. for trading in US it is good enough however.

It seems the issue might have been fixed.. I didnt lose the hope and asked again and again and it worked:

the guy works for CQG so his answer is trustworthy. year ago CQG support told me it was not possible to change order routing on CQG Trader

Anybody ever experienced slippage with CQG Trader? I'm thinking of switching from Rithmic to CQG OE and would like to hear some feedback from users.. It seems like I never ever hear any issues with CQG Trader..

Much thanks,
Jedi

I use CQG data feed through AMP every day and never have any issues with data or slippage plus the customer service is excellent even when I call them in the middle of the night since I trade 24 hours
