The weekly Initial Unemployment claims report, which comes out Thursday mornings at 8:30am ET has been following the same weekly changes as last year.

If that continues, the report on 7/21 should be a higher amount of Initial Claims and be bearish for the markets, especially ES.

Of course this is not set in stone and is just reflection of a past trend. So use this info with caution.

We'll see if the trend continues.

The unemployment number was higher. But the ES was down for only a few seconds before resuming its march higher. Oh well.
