Any stooge can make money in the market keeping it is what is difficult. I think that is one of the allures of trading. Get an account push a button and make some money. You can be a complete stooge with no idea what you are doing and make something. Maybe even get on a lucky run a and make quite a bit.

Keeping it and building an account year after year is something entirely different than a stooge pushing a button thinking they are conquering the market. Even a chimpanzee can push a button.

Moral of the story. Don't be a stooge. Stooges end up broke.

Money management is the closest thing to a grail you will find in trading.

"The day I became a winning trader was the day it became boring. Daily losses no longer bother me and daily wins no longer excited me. Took years of pain and busting a few accounts before finally got my mind right. I survived the darkness within and now just chillax and let my black box do the work."
