I'll post some services that I have personally used and have found value in that weren't free but usually just a reasonable monthly fee no crazy amounts , though there haven't been many, when starting out I found them extremely useful learning tools as a newbie and beyond

1) is sentiment trader , that dude has stats on things you'd never imagine and if you ask him to check something he comes up with a nice presentation , his site is a vault of data and statistics that are nicely charted with extremes, he trades on sentiment and looks for those extremes , charts everything from COT reports to bull/bear sentiment, smart money /dumb money and for longer term trading or investing it's very useful, it's been a while since I have been in there , most money goes to data and platforms these days but was a member for a very long time - it's all in there, volitility, put call ratio long term stuff , years, commodities, indexes, seasonality, trading days, months etc... highly recommend, he was keeping a blog at that time too, not sure if he still does

SentimenTrader Home

2. is Decisionpoint , Carl Swenlin is the man - a self taught trader with years as number 1 market timer in a lot of markets , i think his Daughter has been taking over for him but it's basically chart world with long, long term charts that are set up well and organized, he publishes a mechanical system on pretty much everything that comes in an excel file with triggers and stops etc... it's not really for short term his system but it's interesting to see the non emotional side of things Decisionpoint.com - Stock Market Technical Analysis & Timing

3. E- mini addict has his system down pat and rules firm, he's the best I've ever seen with fibs and that's pretty much all he uses accept for $tick, ^bank and futures charts - the daily videos are free in the mornings and for a monthly fee he charts live all day long , he doesn't necessarily call out trades as much as key levels that come into play more often than not, and talks about his rules and how he uses them and many of the tendencies of the markets under different scenarios that pass by, it's definitely a learning experience https://eminiaddict.com/

To me there is a huge difference between daytrading and any other type of trading or investing, and only the last couple of years I have been making my way towards this change but years ago when i first started out I found a pretty interesting place to me at the time, I only watched the free videos they were putting out , they were very lengthy and just blew me away, i didn't even know what a fibonacci was at that time and it was extremely expensive to me , I thought at the time , I can't say I have used their service other than the free videos but I know they have been around for many years so if you got a hole burning in your pocket it may be something to look into Trading Education | Day Trading Course | E-mini Futures there was a lot, a LOT of psychology stuff in the videos back then and I was just a dumb noob and fast forwarded ... if I only knew

anyways I just checked, it says 295 a month i think back then it was like $6000 (not a month) if my memory is still working well , If i had to guess, I'd say at least 6-7 years ago probably more I think I tried to take the free week and at that time I could'nt figure out how to even get into the room and everything was new back then so can't say I know much about it but they have stuck with me in thought for years so may have something there

I'm sure I've tried hundreds of free trials, but very few that continued past the trial period , most money spent was towards IQ feed and trying out different platforms

This guy is new to me here, he was recommended from a floor trader and I checked it out a little bit he's a great chartist and finds a lot of good setups in individual stocks, but I haven't been keeping much going as I'm sim trading currently mostly | :: The Stock Mentor ::

Anyways, for a long time I had only sentiment trader and decisionpoint which added up to about $60 bucks a month for both and the MB Trading pretend platform they had for years and I was quite happy but i guess back then there wasn't really blogs and forums in my world so much has changed , I think that most of they great info is freely available but perhaps learning from experience of others has it's merits too, but I think that anything that actually has quality is pretty obvious before spending a dime and not hidden behind some locked door JMO

I was going to erase this because it seems like a waste of time but maybe someone will like knowing about a few places that have been around for a while .

I am not currently using any of these paid services and have no affiliation whatsoever other than what I have mentioned.

Happy Trading!

oh oh oh I did forget one, - I spent some time at Investors.com or IBD after reading some of his books, it's not cheap but for a hard core investor there is a lot going on there , I still watch the market updates Stocks, Investing, Business, and Finance News - Investors.com

Thanks for the post. I have not paid for any of those services except IBD, which I find valuable in painting a longer term picture and for investing. They have a very solid methodology (CANSLIM) and very reputable.

I have followed sentiment trader's blog and tweets from time to time. He does have some interesting stats and commentary, but nothing that has worked its way into my trading.
