I think it's great seeing first hand how prop traders trade rather than just seeing a presentation/slide. So much easy to understand what they mean.
Very telling that at 43mins in after talking about how great the new TT is that he actually says he still uses XTrader and not the new platform for his actual execution!
Yeah I was surprised about that. However, the new TT Desktop is an improvement in responsiveness compared to TT(browser based).Except there is no ADL included. I'm curious as to why someone would not want to adopt the new versions. The kinks seem to be worked out.

Well you listed one reason yourself
Also you have to remember that people using XTrader are probably already using co-located infrastructure so the big gain others are experiencing going from local setup to co-located setup doesn't apply.
I know why "I" have not yet been able to move over to TT but for traders that just need your basic order types, charts and trading dom there is a huge cost saving not having to upgrade/maintain software and IT infrastructure. The reported latency differences between ADL in 7x and TT are even more substantial, in the 70% less range. That said it appears to be advantageous for price ladder traders who don't need ADL or AutoSpreader to make the switch.
So I'm curious as to what reasons are behind staying with 7x for those users.
