Hi,
I have question about X-trader and Multicharts,
is it possible to use together X-trader and Multicharts with same user/ account?
I want to trading (send order) via X-trader, is it possible that I 'see' this order on Multicharts charts?
thanks
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
If I understand well my broker must to approve login with two trading platform with same user/pass/account.
In this case I can trade through X-trader and 'see' this order on Multicharts software?
I can't say for sure how it works with X-Trader and your broker, but it works the way you want with IB. That's why my guess is that it can work with X-Trader, too. You should contact the Multicharts helpdesk, because they will know for sure. If you have an answer, please post back here so others can benefit from that, too.
you will need to get a second set of ID's for the account, which depending on the broker will cost you a small fee per month... but honestly why would you want to do that? if you are trying to get the free market data to chart with MC then I would understand, but otherwise you are just opening yourself to disaster as the platforms wont be reconciling what each one is doing within their internal if you open with one and close with another...
