Are anybody using Fin.Alg TPO charts for Market profile on Ninja Trader? It worked like a charm on Ninja 6.5 i have upgraded to Ninja trader7 and now its really BAD! You cant scroll up and down so to go back and get levels is really tough and if a price runs you cant follow it fast enough?? I asked the developer if they will change it and he said not having any plans. Maybe if there is more thats annoyed we can make a case?

Press control and move the chart up or down by placing cursor on price area. It works on NT7.
Also hitting the little F in the right top corner will center the chart.

Yes im doing that, but its still making the letters really small when you want to see the whole day? And going back for levels is a struggle to. I think if you use to the 6.5 NT TPO chart you a bit spoiled cause thats really easy to navigate back and up and down. Im also trading fast markets and dont want to adjust to follow price and then pull the letters smaller everytime. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Mad,
Maybe set the indicator to 2 or 3 ticks per level instead of 1. I have gold and CL and do not have any issues.
If you can post your indicator set up.
...Or buy a 75 inches HD Samsung,

Haha...75 inch..?? Anyway thats actually the point i want to make, why change everything to get a nice easy
to use chart..?? I have done all those things but why? Everything was perfect until NT7 came along and the TPO changed. I want to send the tread to the developer if there is enough people that is annoyed with it. We did pay for it!If there is enough people maybe he will do the change..??? I think he thinks its only me not liking it if he saw more unhappy customers maybe...just maybe we will be inluck?? Thanks for the advice anyway.

Mad,
just looked back at my old notes. The change in NT7 affects all charts, not only fin alg. I do not see what the developer can do.

There is a Ninja7 upgrade that Fin-Alg charges for. ( I think it is about$80) Big improvement .

Does that mean that they can get the Ninja 7 Fin Alg tpo chart looking like the Ninja 6.5 fin alg tpo chart?
That would be great. If thats the case can you let me know how to go about it?
Thank you

Yep the ES fits nicely but im trading gold and crude. Its a bit wider than the ES. You want to see
the whole chart you need to scroll it so small the letters dissapear...only showing the colour blocks.

Just to clerify i got things sorted. The developer contact me and explained everything to me
and its sorted. My stupidity came in the way as the first reply on this question actually answered the question.
Thanks for all the help and Fin.Alg TPO still rules!

Can you show us his reply?
Also imho I think that volume is better that TPO for CL, so don't worry about the small letters. There is always that big Samsung waiting for you .

Did you ask him if there will be a new upgrade once NT upgrades due to W7 service pack 1 release?

Here is his reply "Do you understand you can scroll by Ctrl-Click on the right side price panel and drag the mouse to reposition, this is much the same as using the scroll bar except you need to press Ctrl "
In other words but what you told me in youre first responce. He doesnt work for Nt so dont think he will know. But im speaking to my agent at AMP trading later to help me upgrade my system and go to CQG data feed, he will defnitly know
and if i get a good answer i will let you know.

I'm working full time, so am behind the curve on some of these issues. I contacted fin-alg about this also and was brushed off. I would appreciate some instructions for transferring the TPO from 6.5 to V7.

I liked the chart, but the people at fin-alg seem to have no concept of customer relations. Perhaps contacting NJ would lend some pressure.

SSchelum,
You have to buy a new additional license (approx $50) and download new version. That is if you are using the most recent version of NT7.
