Hello all.

I was talking to a top student of the program I am a part of and he was asking me what prospective students want etc..

Their program is a 10K down, money back deal where you see the live market daily but they don't take any trades and they have several classes a week as well as a lot of self-help stuff etc..

To me, a room where you log in, see a person trading for REAL (no sim) as they would trade normally. Not a 'hey Joe, how are you today, chat room', but a Ok, this is for real.

Free Charting software (shown in Ninja Trader)
Free indicators (No BS!)
Free viewing software (No Hotcomm or proprietary systems for users to pay)
pay by the month or year amount
additional classes outside of normal trading
24 hour trading if the trader is trading w/ notification via text or email
Possible bootcamps (for additional $) to learn more and network
Open forum and chat so others can share while trade room is open
Available statements of trader showing profitability with system

Any others that I am missing that you think would make the difference?

I'd rather say 10k is a megabyte

Any purchase should be determined by a cost-benefit analysis to learn how much value you are receiving for the money spent. In some types of purchases, such as a dishwasher, this analysis isn't straightforward and one may resort to reputable third parties like Consumer Reports for guidance.

When it comes to trading courses and educators--who claim to achieve financial returns--it should be apparent from documented performance and other due diligence examinations, whether it makes economic sense to spend your money.

Don't believe the hype or testimonials no matter how seductive they may be. If you can't prove to yourself any service produces concrete returns by copycatting the methods, then move on. My guess is you will be moving more than stopping to enter your Paypal number.
