Anyone try these guys? They are an educational service and they also give live calls in their trading room. They say their room has been up and running for 7 months. The website is https://www.power-emini-trading.com/learn_more.php

So, no one knows anything about these guys? I've attended one of their "free" live shows but the trader who was on isn't the one who trades live in the Futures room. He is a partner who trades stocks. They don't give a trial where you can gain access to the actual room. They update their stats daily and average 5 points per day (from their performance page) and have been around over 8 months yet I can't find one review or comment about them online.

I spent a couple of months in the room last summer. Jeffery is a good instructor. Steven is a good trader. It was a lot of charts with a lot of indicators. The trade setups were good, but very difficult to spot initially. If you wanted to just follow the calls in the room, you have to be quick because the calls were usually late then fills were tough to get.

It might have been my inexperience with trading es, but I was unable to profit enough from the system to justify the cost of the room.

Thanks for the reply sunpost! You're feedback is the first and only one I've seen on them. My thought is that the calls probably don't come in time to get in and get filled but I'm not a member so can't really say. I do know that during the live free show, calls were made and I was able to follow on sim but there were a couple of times of confusion with regard to entries. Anyway, I may give them a try. I'm looking at a couple of other rooms first that offer a trial.

No problem. In the past, they charged 1/2 price for the first month, so hopefully you can profit at least that much to see if it works for you to continue with them. please report back if you try them.

The barriers to entry for a virtual trade vending business are about as low as it gets. A computer, cookie cutter storefront website, and a PayPal account to take the money (never refundable, of course) from the easy money dreamers.

Add the standard regulatory discalimers and off to the bank they go.

Jeffrey Brewer's swingtradeclub.com comes from the same website mold and I would recommend that site for anyone wants to trade that style. But at the time i was in his emini room, I don't think the program was developed as well as the swing room. So, I don't think blanket statements about the appearance of a website apply in this case.

So, I decided a few weeks ago to sign up after watching the "free" Thursday ustream demonstrations. During the free shows, Jeffrey stated they use a 2 point "protective" stop but that once they go into profit by 3 ticks, they move their SL to BE. He also stated that they typically use a 3 tick stop and never let the 2 point stop get hit.

I honestly feel that the "free" presentations on what you get in the room is quite misleading. First, after I joined I had an hour intro training session with Jeffrey. I noticed some changes mentioned such as not moving the stop after 3 ticks profit but instead "analyzing" the trade and using your discretion. He said that if you move it once you're up 3 ticks to BE, you may get stopped out often and miss the move so just "watch" things once you're in profit. This is fine and what I do when trading forex but the fact is that during those free shows it was constantly stated that they quickly move the stop to BE once they are 3 ticks in profit and obviously this is misleading b/c that's not how it's done in the room... at least it wasn't during my short time in there.

As for my first day in the room, I noticed that the head trader was not using audio. He used text when giving a call and there were times when both entries and exits were ambiguous. There were times when you didn't know if he was still in a trade or not. I recall one trade that went several points against him and it was assumed that he was stopped out. Shortly after, price reversed giving 1 point profit and he sent a message stating to "take profit accordingly." I asked how can he still be in seeing how the trade went over 2 points against him (remember 2 points is only a protective stop and they never let it get hit) and his reply was that he had got back in yet he never informed the room of that. That day I believe there were 7 trades given. 6 were losers. There was a clear downtrend and he kept taking longs. At one point a guy in the room even said something about the counter trend trades. The first trade did give a couple of points from entry to the end (if you had held from start to the end before price reversed) but there was never an exit called... only "take profit accordingly" when it was up 1 point. I was quite surprised to see them post +2 points for that day in their results when it was clearly a negative day.

The next day... same thing. No real audio commentary which I was told was given prior to signing up. The calls were still vague or late. I sent an email to Jeffrey staring that everything described prior to joining was not what was being given and I requested a refund. To their credit, I did receive a refund. I was told that the head trader had broke his foot and was in a lot of pain and that was the reason for things being out of sorts in the room. Jeffrey said he would take over for a few days. I don't know what happened from there. I noticed they took the results for the two days that I was in the room out of the stats page. Right before I joined the stats were updated daily and I notice that it hasn't been that way from the time I joined and canceled.

Anyway, just wanted to give my feedback.

I have never seen any trading room, paid or free, do anything other than what you describe above (including LBR that some people like).

Thanks for reporting back @sequentialb . It appears that they have not improved the room since I left. TPA -- take profits accordingly -- always chapped me when the trade was not going as planned and there was silence on the audio. From what I understand, Steven is no longer trading there.

No problem. Steven was the head trader for the two days I was there. Jeffrey said he was going to take over for a few days while Steven recovers from his broken foot. That was two weeks ago. I don't know if Steven came back or not.

I think Jeffrey might be spreading himself too thin. It might be best for him to stick with the swing club that he does a fairly good job maintaining.

I was in the room a few months ago - same old thing - late calls after they were "in the trade" - total joke - save your money and stay away.

yeah. I was trading their charts better without the audio calls. The slightest hesitation when scalping can quickly turn a winner into a loser. He might have traded his own account very well, but the room suffered from delayed calls.

The chart setups were pretty good--maybe a little too complicated to juggle them all to scalp. I think Jefferey's swing trade club is a much better value for the money than the emini room.

Are you using their alert subscription service? (poweremini.com) I see on their website the performance stats. Do you find these to be accurate and that once alerted you have sufficient time to get into the trades? Would you say that you are being successful following their alerts and have a good positive return (any statistics you are willing to provide will be appreciated)?

Thanks,

Some current reviews about poweremini.com?

I know of a person who suposedly gets some profits from these alerts ... but I still have the doubt about paying for the service ...
