Hi, have any of you used Take Profit Trader? I've had a look at their site and rules and think they have some pros and cons, would be interested to hear from anyone that's tried them.
Pros:
They have lots of platforms including Tradovate.
You can reset the funded account.
Not too expensive(40% off at the moment).
Evaluation rules seem fair.
Cons:
Intraday drawdown once funded, including unrealised PnL.
Funded account reset fee is expensive(one reviewer said it was $1500).
Can't trade news releases.
10 days to pass, even if you hit profit target early.
Trading day only counted if it's something you used to hit the profit target, i.e if you passed with NQ then you can't just trade MNQ to count it as 1 trading day.
There's probably more that I've missed which is why I'd be interested to hear about your experiences.
