backtesting Renko bars gives wrong information....
there are a few which back test accurately, but you need to really understand the Renko type, as what it displays is not always
accurate.
do you send your money to Turkey, and get the strategy or do they send you the strategy and you send your money......what happens if they dont send you the strategy after you send your money.......its Turkey.....just a thought....and yes...when someone uses Renko the two charts I looked at were both Renko...not a great bar to be backtesting with.....unless you put the slippage as the size of the bar....if you notice on some of the charts they show you the buy/sell prices...the buy on a long is at the bottom of the next bar.....the actual price is at the top of the bar...you will never buy at the bottom of the bar....the price is not there....this is a bug in NT8 when working with Renko bars.....so slippage has to be the size of the bar......before you can determine if there is any profit in the strategy......
I bought this. It is horrible. Didn't catch it at first, but all their results are of Renko's on NT8 strategy analyzer. We all know how that is. The bots do not have time settings, trail, break even, multiple targets, etc. Just not good.
Well They are the "Official Club is the official Vendor of Ninja Trader" according to their website -
I see some red flags with this website, They have been running a special for $1200 for a Lifetime membership into their club, but it's recently been dropped down to $600 for a Lifetime membership, proceeds will be given to a third country for earthquake relief.
If you try to order you will notice the Life Time Offer is dropped off.
But if you scroll down the page - You will see that "The Ful membership license is for 1 year"
I am not exactly sure if they are legit or not, or the product of a kid in Turkey. The spelling errors do not exactly give me confidence -
Also, the payment methods give you warnings about sending money overseas due to spammers.
It could be legit, and spelling mistakes could be bad translations, but it's highly fishy to me.
A lot of their videos are creepy automated AI Text to voice with nervous ticks.
I tried it at the $500 special a few months ago. I am such a sucker for this stuff. Anyway... It is crap. The bots just lose. They do not have any time of day options or any filter options of any kind. You just get a bunch of bots with weird names that just do "whatever". No user adjustments (maybe TP and SL, can't remember now). You don't even know what they are based on. I did not catch it at first, but the results are all based as others have said. Renko testing does not work on NT8.
I just copied several posts from a related thread on this vendor, "Ninja strategies club", because the other thread was opened later than this one but had posts on the same vendo.
The posts from that thread came into this one in chronological order on the date in which they were posted, so the flow of this thread may be a little choppy where they came in. But it's important to not have related material spread around in different places, as much as possible. It lets people who are interested in a vendor or a topic find more complete information, more quickly.
As to the substance of their claims, folks, be very careful about what you use your money for. It is easy to promise, harder to deliver. Find out what you can about any product offer, and remember that trading is not that easy, no matter what the pitchmen tell you. I've not tried them and don't plan to, so this is not a review.... just advice to be cautious.
And if you're somebody who keeps trying out these vendor offers, please think about that.
Bob.
