Thats interesting. Is the group still active ?
Or do you just know the profitable traders personally ?

And no, I don't intend to lease it, especially from what I've seen in the last 2 days in the hotcomm teaching room. They broadcast it live currently with hotcomm and it's not really doing great.

The only thing i like is that it gives you an alert when a possible trade comes up. As I'm still working next to trading i'd like the idea to get an alert when a possible trades is coming...

Thanks, works great, now I wonder why i spent so much money .

No, last question, is there any indicator you know that would work like the 1:1 indicator in Nexgen ?
And something like the fib-indicator (in some way the base-foundataion of Nexgen)

For what it's worth:

A couple of years ago I started an unofficial Nexgen users group. It had roughly 50 enthusiastic members. After 2 years I know of only 3 people who both continue to use the software and are profitable with real money. In other words, about the same % of success one would expect from any approach.

Further, the 3 profitable traders are all critical of how Nexgen teaches their own method, i.e. they are not using the (ever changing) trade setups as taught.

And I agree with the comment above that virtually all indicators they use are either available free or easily coded.

From what I saw on the video, I would not expect that the success rate will change at all with the new software.

so youre saying the users group is no longer functioning? lets start a new one. cuz im full time and I will never quit. we can help each other. lets get together and trade. i have 10 friends with nexgen. I have a conference room we use to discuss trades and so on. perhaps we can get together and assist each other. develop some mutually beneficial value. what do you say?

I have coded a fib confluence indicator, which is not a Nexgen clone, but produces similar results. If you want to test it, send me a private message. It would be pretty easy to code a 1:1 indicator for the current alternate.

You don't need to code a 1:1, I was just wondering if somebody knows an indicator that does that already..

I'm interested to test your indicator, so I can compare it to the actual Nexgen fibs.

Yes the group that I referred to is defunct.

There are some traders with whom I stay in touch. Personally I have 'evolved'? to the point that I think it is crazy to day trade without volume and order flow information. How some people can make money with the Nexgen software is beyond me and I am ok if it stays that way.

I don't mean this critically, it just isn't the answer for me personally.

so let us re-start this group of nexgen/forex traders and work together to help each other. how about it? we can call trades, share resources, and so on. ive got an ivocalize room with 15 seats which we can expand. I also have forex squawk audio which is nice too. We often get on skype and talk about trades as well. Any one up for joining?

about volume and order flow, why don 't you share some of that expertise with us? even for a fee, I would be delighted to learn more and how you can integrate the entries of nexgen with volume and order flow info. what do you say?

lets cooperate, more pairs of eyes are helpful and we are all looking at a very similar system which helps.

cheers!

I think the owner of Big Mikes's day trading forum trades from simple visual cues he gets by tracking series of HH HL LL LH. How about that ? Would be curious to hear what he has to say about order flow and volume in itself. Is it the golden path ?
