With topstep I have been constantly improving because everytime I break a rule I pay 100 USD

Another way to make money off you? Well, I agree that you can learn alot from others and I think losing 85k just supports my idea that futures are a bad idea for a rookie.

Yes, you are definitely right, I think the best starting point is to trade stocks. As far as I know in stocks you can select the stocks with the highest probability of being a runner (basically a stock opening with a gap), and the play the breakout trade.
To me it seems easier at least from a conceptual perspective, but I am not an expert on trading stocks.

also you pay near 0 to the broker , exchange and data provider . volume studies work better on stocks and S/R levels do leak like futures .

This is simply an allegation of fraud and violation of laws regulating trading. It is easy to make accusations, but harder to prove them. In this instance, no proof or evidence is offered.

So I've been shown this by a number of people, and I was told that it is actually in the agreement you sign. So I don't think that would be fraud? That's not exactly proof or anything, but all I'm saying is always read the fine print.
