Thanks for the update! Most of Ehler's indicators are publicly available from his articles and books, but I understand how the application of those techniques could be considered IP. Too bad I had already used my training budget for the year.

It will be interesting to see if he will be passing the torch to someone else and if the workshop will be offered in the future, given his retirement.

Thanks again!

I have great news for you! Ehler's decided to extend his retirement date and will host another workshop this October 2021. He's apparently been busy doing a ton of research and has produced new strategies and studies he claims are robust. You can download the syllabus here: https://mesasoftware.com/

I'm actually looking forward to attending again! Yes, many of his indicators are publicly available. However, there's a big difference between the public content and what you get at the workshop. Most of the public content is outdated. The studies/strategies you get at the workshop are vastly superior in functionally. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I just found out from someone else, too. This is great news. I should have the time and budget to attend. I am psyched!

Completely understood! Thanks for the feedback, you're one of the few to have posted a review of sorts lol.

What timeframe and instruments do you trade?

I also attended the workshop but did not find any indicators / strategies to be robust enough. Can you send me a DM?

I trade the /NQ & /ES on 15m TF. When you say they were not robust, in comparison to what?

Is the workshop recorded? And will you have lifetime access to the course material?

I would like to know as well.

@Tanvo , are you planning on attending? I am seeing if I can work it into my training budget.

I am not sure yet about attending. USD 4K is a lot and most of the code is already available in the following book: Cycle Analytics for Traders: Advanced Technical Trading Concepts, + Downloadable Software.

I have also contacted John and got the following response: ‘ You have the ability to record the workshop on your own computer. I will not be making videos available’.

$4k is a steep price to be certain, but having studied a lot of Ehler's works and have questions. There are few things that are making me consider it.

1) I understand his indicators and tools, but do not really know how to use them, particularly in an automated system. I have built a lot of systems with his ideas, but only had one system that passed.

2) He has an optimizer that runs magnitudes faster than TradeStation's, for which I would like to get the code and he is providing

3) I want to see the systems he has developed and how it various cycle tools are integrated

In the case of @kevinkdog 's course, I easily made that money back in commission rebates, profit, and avoided losses. In Ehler's case, the value has to far exceed the cost (> 2R, if you will). What I am hoping for is an 'aha!' moment when taking the class, when everything makes sense. I will let you know if I decide to pull the trigger and do it.
