Hi @Bookmap Bruce, welcome to the community and thank you for being a site sponsor.

We look forward to you answering questions from the community, I believe there is a great deal of interest in Order Flow products at this time.

Soon, Bookmap will be presenting a webinar and we will post the details/date of that event here in this webinar shortly.

In the meantime, if anyone has questions for Bookmap, please feel free to post them here.

Can I use my Sierra Charts data feed with Bookmap or would I have to purchase separate data?

Hi Jones1020

Currently Sierra Charts Data is not supported by Bookmap so you will need to subscribe to the data separately.

The list of supported market data providers is available here:
https://bookmap.com/wiki/Main_Page

Also, note that you can develop such adapter via Bookmap API. You can read more about it here: https://bookmap.com/wiki/Bookmap_API

Hi Bruce, I've been considering Bookmap for a few weeks now, and after attending the webinar this week, have decided to give it a go. I would like to begin by running Bookmap alongside the TWS charts I presently use from Interactive Brokers.
Although I dabble in some spreads and options trading, I mainly intraday and swing trade NYMEX Natural Gas and Crude Oil futures with IB on a MacBook Pro.

A few questions...
1. Can Bookmap run on a Mac using the IB data feed?
2. Will Bookmap run concurrently with TWS charts using a single IB data feed?
3. If the answer to question 2 is ‘yes’, would I have the option to execute trades from either Bookmap or TWS?
4. Could a third-party data feed be used to trade with Bookmap, while keeping IB as the broker, in order to achieve deeper and more accurate book data than what IB currently provides?

Thanks

Hello: I watched the webby and it looks very interesting. Is there a market replay capability so that one could study the platform in action? I use market replay practically every day to go over my trades or just to observe how the market traded on a particular day. Thanks

Is there a market replay capability .....

Not Bruce, but I know Bookmap has replay.
Here's a video from a couple of years explaining the basic functionality then. I think the newer program versions may allow a download of data rather than needing sessions to have been recorded first before replaying that file.

Trading, ideally structured, is a vehicle for expanding consciousness, not damaging it. - Brett Steenbarger

My understanding is that Bookmap only works with low TimeFrames
However, I thought of double validating my understanding

I'm a Swing Trader, lowest TF on my chart is H4, and wondering how Bookmap would look like on H4 upward? (some chart examples or youtube please)

Thank you,

@Bookmap,

The following are some of the questions during the webinar. If any of these merit a written response in addition to any response already given in the video, please reply for the benefit of all members reading and searching for answers:

How can you see if an iceberg is buying? Can you also detect the volumeof the iceberg?

Is there a connection between the numbers right under and the volume of the transacted icebergs?

Is the 6E data also privided by Rithmic?

How do I trade based on this orderflow data? Do you also provide any structure as to how to utilize bookmap?

Using reset mode, negative values are sell icerberg orders and positive values are buy iceberg ordes, am I rigt?

does this indicaator confirm entry or wave off

Bruce... I signed up for 14day trial for Rithnic... Please, which do I check? Aggregated quotes or Plugin mode?

can you tell me how to format the instrument in Rithmic? example for ES

how does it compare to Cumulative Delta? If the price remains the same and there are buy icebergs, one should see a falling cumulative delta, right?

Is this true ? Global does not allow trading for futures ? Only Global + allow trading in futures ?

how are you interpreting a sell top run going down, yet the icebergs are going up ? one might think the orders being absorbed might prevent a sift down?

Can the SI tracker be avoided by large market participants who want to hide their activities? I read that large market participants can re-route their orders so they do not show on the rithmic MBO data. Thanks.

it looks like the sum graphs of SI plateau as the day progresses, e.g., in some of today's examples the lines crowded the top of the graph. Does the SI line re-set to avoid plateau-ing or should the trader reset himself or herself to get a value?

Do you have an idea on when BookMap will work with TD Ameritrade

Did I hear you say something about Fridays being free?

On the bottom right of the screen, what do the numbers for icebergs and stops represent?

Is there support at Bookmap to understand this better, or do you get that mainly through the education videos?

CME is only Global Plus, right so how can it work with Global?

do you plan to develop a NoCode Strategy Builder?

how useful is it for trading news after econ news comes out?

Does MBO Bundle work with dxFeed CME Data?

is the mbo indicator available in a free trail

How does the previous Iceberg detector correlate with the newer one in terms of accuracy %?

Any other feeds going to offer MBO data in the future?

how does mbo manage spoof orders on the book?

Is training provided for all the items you are describing today?

Can you demonstrate the exponential setting for the Iceberg and Stop Orders

What coding language integrates the easiest? C? C++, Python?

Does Bokmap work without Rithmic data?

I have continuum with NinjaTrader. So I will have to get Rithmic on top of my current data provider to have your product work. Is that correct

Rithmic data cost included in Globalplus?

A client uses Infinity Futures, which uses TransAct Futures. Will Bookmap work well with this and are their any limitations (for not using Rithmic et al.)?

Explain, entry and exit based on context and indicator

MBO bundle instead on monthly do you have one time price, like lifetime

How do you differentiate between buy stop orders, and sell stop orders?

I use IQFeed , do i need to go on Rithmic ? Is there a big difference ?

Hi! Do you have a fav about S-I settings? Sum, expo or reset?

And another one please: this is more for Bookmap general and not to Stop-Ice: Do you have plans to add more indicator panels? The only one is very limited now, after all these goodies on the marketplace...

Can the colors be adjusted...especially for those of us that are color-blind? Thanks.

is this just for futures? Or can you use it with stocks? ETFs?

can you use more than one indicator panel?

if i have a bookmap subscription do i get that live training daily?

cme is MBO only, so how does this work with nymex ?

Thank you for the questions.

Any questions related to Bookmap education are merged here:
  1. How do I trade based on this order flow data? Do you also provide any structure as to how to utilize bookmap?
  2. Did I hear you say something about Fridays being free?
  3. Is there support at Bookmap to understand this better, or do you get that mainly through the education videos?
  4. Can you demonstrate the exponential setting for the Iceberg and Stop Orders
  5. Explain, entry and exit based on context and indicator
  6. if i have a bookmap subscription do i get that live training daily?
  7. Is training provided for all the items you are describing today?

Bookmap offers robust free advanced education for its subscribers. You get access to a 4 part educational course, as well as our daily advanced live order flow webinars. In these webinars, we cover how to read order flow. It is not a trading room, but we will cover various trading strategies. On Fridays, the Advance webinar is free and open to all. We also are there to answer your questions regarding order flow and Bookmap functionality.
If you want additional trading services, please access our Bookmap Educator/Partner Directory. You can also attend or watch recordings of our Bookmap Pro Trader webinar series to see how professionals use Bookmap and trade order flow.

How can you see if an iceberg is buying? Can you also detect the volume of the iceberg?
When a portion of the buying iceberg transacts, then the S-I Tracker outputs the volume of the executed iceberg portion. See Fig 5 in our Blog article.

Is the 6E data also provided by Rithmic?
Yes, Rithmic provides MBO data for all CME futures, including the CME currency futures like the 6E.

Using reset mode, negative values are sell iceberg orders and positive values are buy iceberg orders, am I right?
That’s correct.

Does this indicator confirm entry or wave off?
Stops & Iceberg Tracker can be used for both. How to use it is totally up to the trader. Most importantly is to understand how it works and why it is important.

I signed up for the Rithmic 14 day. Please, which do I check? Aggregated quotes or Plugin mode?
If you use Aggregated quotes you will not receive MBO data.
MBO is available also in a Plugin mode (connected to Rithmic R-Trader). Learn more about R-Trader plugin mode here.

Can you tell me how to format the instrument in Rithmic? example for ES
It is ESM0. For the symbol guide, visit our Symbols Guide here.

How does it compare to Cumulative Delta? If the price remains the same and there are buy icebergs, one should see a falling cumulative delta, right?
Yes, if transactions are on the bid and there are iceberg behind, you’ll see a drop in Cumulative Delta and SI Tracker / Iceberg indicator will rise.

Is this true ? Global does not allow trading for futures ? Only Global + allow trading in futures ?
Yes.

How are you interpreting a sell stop run going down, yet the icebergs are going up? One might think the orders being absorbed might prevent a shift down?
In many cases you are right, however, in other cases, the icebergs cannot absorb all the selling pressure and price will continue to drop.

Can the SI tracker be avoided by large market participants who want to hide their activities? I read that large market participants can reroute their orders so they do not show on the rithmic MBO data. Thanks.
Yes, they can avoid it using synthetic/heuristic icebergs. Read more here.

It looks like the sum graphs of SI plateau as the day progresses, e.g., in some of today's examples the lines crowded the top of the graph. Does the SI line re-set to avoid plateau-ing or should the trader reset himself or herself to get a value?
There are 3 modes of accumulation. If you want to see the spikes, use the Reset or Exponential modes, if you wish to see the accumulation over time, use the ‘SUM’ mode which may plateau in some cases.

Do you have an idea on when BookMap will work with TD Ameritrade?
We don’t know yet. We will inform when we know more.

On the bottom right of the screen, what do the numbers for icebergs and stops represent?
The bottom right widget panel shows the latest value of the Stops & Iceberg Tracker. If you’re in real time mode you’ll see the current value of the indicator.

CME is only for Bookmap Global Plus, right so how can it work with Global?
No, Bookmap Global works CME futures as well. Bookmap Global Plus enables trading as well as other addons.

Do you plan to develop a NoCode Strategy Builder?
Bookmap’s Java based API is code based only. It allows you to build your own automated strategies or indicators. You can also sell your addons or buy third party addons on Bookmap marketplace. We plan to release ability to easily create / adjust addons via Javascript.

How useful is it for trading news after econ news comes out?
In addition to watching the dynamic of the order book after news events, being able to see the stops and icebergs around those areas would give valuable insight on the market participants intentions

Does MBO Bundle work with dxFeed CME Data?
At this stage only Rithmic supports CME / MBO data. dxFeed is working to update their market data to include it as well but it’s not available at this time.

Is the MBO Bundle indicator available in a free trial?
No, we do not provide trials for the MBO bundle. The price right now is 50% off. If you wish to lock in that recurring price, please subscribe before July 1, 2020.

How does the previous Iceberg detector correlate with the newer one in terms of accuracy %?
It is difficult to compare because it depends on your data provider, the instrument you use, and the parameters you set on both indicators.

Any other feeds going to offer MBO data in the future?
Yes. It depends on when other 3rd parties market data providers will offer MBO data.

How does MBO manage spoof orders in the book?
The SI tracker shows only the transacted volume. A spoof is a limit order that tries to manipulate the traders and is visible on the heatmap.

What coding language integrates the easiest? C? C++, Python?
Bookmap API is in Java. If you wish to write an addon or adapter in languages other than Java you can use all supported by OS interprocess communication methods including web sockets, JNI, etc. However, you can load your own minimalistic Java module that acts as a proxy agent. To read more about Bookmap API click here.

Does Bookmap work without Rithmic data?
Bookmap supports 10 different market data providers for CME futures. If you’re referring to the Stops & Iceberg Tracker, it works only with Rithmic data and CME instruments.

I have CQG continuum with NinjaTrader. So I will have to get Rithmic on top of my current data provider to have your product work. Is that correct?
Yes. you have to have a direct connection of Rithmic or Rithmic R-Trader Pro to Bookmap. NinjaTrader connected to will display full market depth but it will not display MBO data. Thus when Bookmap is connected via NinjaTrader with Rithmic, MBO data will not display.

Is Rithmic data cost included in Global Plus?
No. Given prices are for Bookmap software only. Data from the third party providers is not included.

A client uses Infinity Futures, which uses TransAct Futures. Will Bookmap work well with this and are there any limitations (for not using Rithmic et al.)?
For the Stops & Iceberg Tracker you have to have Rithmic data. It won’t work with other market data providers. Rithmic also provides full depth data which is not offered by TransAct.

MBO bundle instead on monthly do you have one time price, like lifetime?
We do not offer a lifetime price for the MBO bundle at this stage.

How do you differentiate between buy stop orders, and sell stop orders?
You can see it based on the direction of the Stop Tracker. In Buy stop it’ll go up and in Sell Stop it’ll go down. See Fig 3 in our Blog article.

I use IQFeed, do i need to to have Rithmic? Is there a big difference?
The S-I Tracker won’t work with any other feeds other than Rithmic and CME instruments at this stage.

Hi! Do you have a favorite S-I settings? Sum, expo or reset?
It depends on your personal preference. If you wish to see spikes, use it in reset / expo, or use the SUM mode to get insights of accumulated values over time.

Do you have plans to add more indicator panels? The only one is very limited now, after all these goodies on the marketplace…
Yes we plan to and it is added in Bookmap’s roadmap but we do not have a release date at this time.

Can the colors be adjusted...especially for those of us that are color-blind? Thanks.
Yes. It is part of the SI Tracker settings.

Is this just for futures? Or can you use it with stocks? ETFs?
At this stage the Stops & Icebergs Tracker works for CME futures only with Rithmic data. However Bookmap can also connect to stocks and digital currencies.

CME is MBO only, so how does this work with NYMEX?
CME Group includes 4 exchanges: CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX. All support MBO data.

@Bookmap,

The following are some of the questions during the last webinar. If any of these merit a written response in addition to any response already given in the video, please reply for the benefit of all members reading and searching for answers.

I tried to pick out the specific Bookmap questions here, leaving the Scott questions elsewhere:

is the promo price good for the whole year? I missed that.

im a bit confused still. If I want to trade ES futures, so I need Global Plus? Then the MBO is extra to that subscription?

i currently use AMP as my broker....altho use Denali with my data feed into my Sierra Charts. I need to cancel Denali and get Rithmic thru Amp? I may need help with configuration....

can you actually trade on BookMap?

Any plans to get this for equities in the future?

How are the stop runs detected and their figures calculated?

So is the legacy iceberg indicator accurate for a quality data feed such as Rithmic?

What about his iceberg settings and why?

Does the SI indicator included with a life time purchase of Global Plus?

If i go through NinjaTrader for my Rithmic feed will I get clean data?

will you talk about the massive negative imbalance in the liquidity tracker today (and this week). The numbers are many orders of magnitude higher than usual

i think my MBO is old and buggy, my numbers are waaaaaay different than what Scott is showing, in the millions. i pinged you an image on twitter, it was the LT imbalance, i think i have an old buggy version

I purchased the bundle after the webby. Have had a lot of problem connecting. Still can't connect to Rithmic and their support can't figure it out.
The download is in a zip file which has to be opened and uploaded as .jar files. There are no instructions anywhere as to how to install the bundle.

They really should be more prepared before giving a webinar on a new add on. It looks like something I could use, but if I don't get these issues worked out by Monday, going to request a refund with a note to let me know when they're organized with proper instructions for this new add on.

Hi Phantomtrader,

I'm sorry about your disappointing experience. You can now get Rithmic data directly from Bookmap's Marketplace, and thus bypass Rithmic support. The passwords will be sent to your email. Then watch this video on connecting Bookmap to Rithmic. You can connect directly by inputting your credentials, or download and install Rithmic R-Trader Pro and connect via their API.

To install the Bookmap MBO Addon, watch this short video. Note, you may need to restart after installation, or perhaps simply select and deselect the SI Tracker a few times for it to properly display. Try that first if it doesn't display correctly.

Here are some other resources to assist with your questions or issues:
  1. Regarding any questions on the settings, or other details are likely answered in this article.
  2. Also the previous FIO webinar should assist with answering any questions.
  3. Our Bookmap_pro Twitter account shares many trader's SI Tracker and MBO insights as well.
  4. More over, please join us in live daily webinars, sign up for the Bookmap Basics webinar from bookmap.com, in the education section. They start at 10:30am ET everyday. As a subscriber, then come to our Daily Advanced webinars at 11am ET. We really go through the order flow details and Stops and Icebergs in this webinar. Log into bookmap.com/portal, click on the 'Register to Webinars' button in the left margin. This is a great area to ask questions.
  5. We'll continue to add more and more MBO Content as we move forward.
  6. If you still require assistance, then please reach out to us at support@bookmap.com

Bruce

You can find the Bookmap MBO Bundle for purchase on our Bookmap Marketplace, not Bookmap.com. Then check out this recent FIO post to further assist.

My understanding is that Bookmap only works with low TimeFrames
However, I thought of double validating my understanding

I'm a Swing Trader, lowest TF on my chart is H4, and wondering how Bookmap would look like on H4 upward? (some chart examples or youtube please)

Thank you,

A late reply, apologies. Nonetheless, there are several tweets and images of higher time frame order flow opportunities. Please check out this image from today's ES action. You can see how the order flow on the higher time frame allowed you to have a bullish outlook all day. I hope this helps you and fits within your trading time frame...

I was hoping to sign-up for @Bookmap, but your customer service turned me off! It's clear they were more concerned with what they could get from me $$$, than guiding me in a thoughtful manner that would allow me to make an informed decision. Bummer!

Question regarding the bundle. The stop and iceberg trackers are already in Bookmap. Why do subscribers have to pay for them again in the bundle? It looks like the only indicator that isn't already included is the liquidity tracker. Isn't that correct? Thanks.

I have a question about history data: If I start Bookmap at 10am on a Tuesday without having local history data on my computer, Bookmap will only load 1 hour of history data from the Rithmic feed. That makes it impossible to establish a proper Session Volume Profile and look back and see where the liquidity was in the past. Sometimes it's not feasible to leave Bookmap running 24x7 on my computer.

I know that you offer history data via dxFeed for a monthly fee but why is that necessary to purchase? I have verified that Rithimic can populate a tick chart for several days in the past by feeding Rithmic into Multicharts. Why will you not let Bookmap use that history data?

Thanks

The Bookmap Stop&Iceberg Tracker is a new indicator that is offered separately on the Bookmap Marketplace. It is is sold as part of the MBO Bundle indicator package. The MBO Bundle includes 3 indicators: The Stop&Iceberg Tracker, the Liquidity Tracker, the Advanced Time & Sales. These MBO indicators only works with CME Futures instruments with Rithmic data. These 3 indicators are new and haven't been offered before.

The Stop&Iceberg Tracker only displays Native CME Iceberg Order transactions and CME Stop Order transactions. This indicator is very different than the older Synthetic Iceberg Detector which Bookmap has offered for years as part of the Bookmap Global+ package. Synthetic Iceberg Orders might be for example TT traders collocated next to the CME exchange using TT's Iceberg order type. Bookmap's Synthetic Iceberg Detector is based on microstructural events and false positives may occur. These false positives will not occur with the new S-I Tracker using CME MBO data connected by Rithmic.

@Bruce, i just made the nt8 bridge, I've used bm in the past. When using my live Rithmic account I'm getting a large heatmap dom(as I am familiar with), when using Earn2trades Rithmic data I'm getting very little on my dom, like 1or2 levels.

Any suggestions on me fixing that? Why am I not getting a full heatdom or dom?

@KahunaDog, have you requested Market depth from E2T customer support. I was surprised it was not supplied automatically as part of the subscription but it isn't.

@KahunaDog, it sounds like you are not receiving any depth at all. As per Grodsky's suggestion, I think it's best to reach out to E2T and request full depth with Rithmic.

Hi Macieman,

Unfortunately the $89 price is no longer available. However, the MBO Bundle is still 25% off until the end of September at the $134 price. You may want to try it and lock that recurring price in before it jumps to $178.

I am thinking of trying Bookmap with Futures. I will execute on another platform but was wondering if Global version can be used with Futures? I see in the comparison it shows you have to have Global+ but I heard from another trader that you can use Global with Futures.

Can you clarify?

Hi Jalley,

Yes, Bookmap Global allows for connectivity to futures and/or stocks. Note, you'll need to provide the data, so ask you futures broker. Else, you can can Rithmic from the Bookmap Marketplace or dxfeed from our website. dxfeed stocks data can also be purchased from our website.

recently purchased the Black Friday global+ sub and it seems the old iceberg indicator (shows number of hidden trades on heatmap) is no longer there?

I messaged support and they linked me to the MBO $130/m add on and told me old iceberg indicator has been renamed "Strength Level" and isnt' available for dx/crypto atm.

So i loaded up my old bookmap and it's in the drop-down for DX and it works, but after I update it's gone and can't be selected?

Will the old indicator be making a return or is it just the $130/m option now? and does that work with Crypto

AFAIK it was removed from dxFeed instruments due to the dxFeed policy on what you can do with market data. The indicator works with other data feeds.

Bookmap can definitely do a better job of making this more clear though. Instead of removing the strength level indicator from the indicators menu, they can make it inactive and show a message explaining why it's not available with dxfeed similar to the alert you get when you subscribe to a dxfeed instrument.

Go to UserCP -> Edit email. You have marked us as spam in the past, or you are using a junk email address. Updated your email to something like Gmail and it will work. You can check your spam folder as well, but since your email address has the work "junk" in it, I would imagine that is the problem.

Hi Timo123 and ivoTrades,

Bookmap's Strength Indicator should not be available for dxfeed instruments because false positives occur; there may be latencies when orders and trades arrive from the data provider which could cause erroneous outputs.

Bruce

can't you just leave the option in and have a note that it can cause false positives?

or is there any tool available to see variance between executed trades and limit orders for crypto?

it's probably not that hard to program at all, I just don't really want to work with Java

Not Bruce, but I know Bookmap has replay.
Here's a video from a couple of years explaining the basic functionality then. I think the newer program versions may allow a download of data rather than needing sessions to have been recorded first before replaying that file.

thank you so much for the work, I think this video is worth watching

Hi timo123,

My apologies, I was incorrect. We just recently allowed the Strength Indicator for dxfeed, but please note the accuracy warning when you open the settings dialog box. Thus it is just like you requested above. There is no tool to display variance between the order book and transactions, although as you know, it is possible to code it in our Java based API. Moreover, you can sell it on the Bookmap Marketplace if you like as well.

regards,

Bruce

@Bookmap, is it possible to develop my own custom automated trading strategies using Bookmap API that can manage multi contract position? I'm also keen to know if Bookmap API enables custom strategy to accept signals generated and sent by other platform such as Ninjatrader OR is bookmap API capable of sending out critical levels information to other platforms?

cool to hear, is there any word on if the strength indicator will be available for crypto?

or will/does the new iceberg indicator work for crypto?

Hi Timo123,

Bookmap Global+ version's Strength Indicator works for Crypto. The new MBO Bundle which includes the Stop&Iceberg Tracker only works with CME Group futures instruments with RIthmic data. The MBO Bundle and SI Tracker is sold separately and thus works with both Bookmap Global and Global+ versions.

regards,

Bruce

the indicator is displayed on the top right, it just doesn't have any settings so the only thing you can do from that window is enable / disable it.

sorry I meant the strength level indictator, names are quite similar... the old iceberg indicator. Will it be making it to crypto again or is it also returning too many false positives.

Hi Timo,

Are you a Bookmap Global+ subscriber? The Strength Indicator is one of several included in the Bookmap Global+ version, along with our new Absorption Indicator. Sounds like you installed the latest Bookmap Beta version. Other than that, you should have access to the Strength Indicator... Let me know!

Bruce

Hi

I hope that you are very well. I´m basically looking for some bookmap information. Because I just moving forward to bookmap, but I realize that is very difficult fo find some developers freelancer. And why here nobody can share some bookmap indicator. I know that bookmap`s indicator their are developed in Java language. So I think that it would be great to increase the information and indicator about bookmap her at Futures.io.

best regards

Hi @Bookmap,

Can you talk to me about cryptocurrencies. What crypto do you support today? Is it only CME based futures? Or do you support spot? If spot, which exchanges are supported?

Hi Mike,

You can connect Bookmap to CME Futures crypto currencies as long as you have a CME supported futures datafeed. Bookmap also connect to 21 different crypto exchanges listed here. If you have any questions please let me know. Leave a message at 917-708-8171 and I will call you back.

best,

Bruce

Wow, Bitflyer is well supported feature-wise by Bookmap. I have many different exchanges setup for my personal use and education, but I've been primarily using FTX for my spot crypto trades as I like their interface the best. I will admit however, I have not tried Bitflyer.

Can you tell me specifically regarding FTX, what your future plans are to get a few more checkmarks on that list? Their developers have responded to me rather rapidly so far, is the issue their side or yours?

Mike

The biggest issue I've seen to date is the difficulty finding programmers/developers.
I've contacted several for what seems like a pretty easy project- Read a Global Objects NinjaTrader file and draw it on a BookMap chart. They laughed when I told them I'd pay $1,000 to have it done. Not worth their time.
Looked on the BM Forum and across the NT multiverse. No takers.
Very frustrating.

GC Full Cash Sesssion - Stops -Delta _02.23

Hey Bruce!

As we see there was buying Absorption firing off after the Gold pit opened yet prices fell and then fell rapidly after the Cash open with CVD (cumulative volume delta), -Ice and -Stops... appox $9 worth! As the realtime Volume came in contact with the significant 200 Bids at 1801.3 we see again Buying Absorption firing off there and at levels below the Century figure.

Returning to that figure, and the real-time volume appears to be with the Bulls (above the VWAP), they are able to push $8 back up to the highest levels since the pit open before exhaustion.

Ranging therefrom, we are never able to get below that support level at the Century.. it would appear they wish to take take things higher -

But notice the minimal amount of +Ice throughout the session and falling CVD...

In short, what is your opinion of the -Ice & -Stops and their story here at this Century figure (1800) ?

Hi EssDigs,

Sorry I wasn't able to reply in real time, but the order flow structure is still negative. Buyers couldn't reach back above the previous big drop, despite the absorption on the bid below 1800. Note the second drop just after 13:00. There is a nice spike of sell icebergs transaction, and buyers can't even breach that swing high at 1807. In fact, look at the heavy supply in the Bookmap heatmap at 1806.5. Moreover, as you noted, CVD continues to drop, which confirms sellers are still in control. Hope it helps...

Bruce

Hi Bruce,

I currently have bookmap in ToS. I was wondering if there are any weaknesses in having bookmap in ToS vs going through the bookmap website? I know there aren't the iceberg indicators in ToS and maybe some other features, but I was hoping you could let me know if there are any other significant differences.

Thank you!

Hi,

I haven't played around yet with the TOS Bookmap version. I know however, the initial offering has less functionality than the Bookmap desktop version. Future TOS versions will include more features. Please reach out to TOS for some of the details, we don't know their development schedule. Regarding icebergs in TOS, They use dxfeed data for futures, and dxfeed at this time does not offer MBO data so unfortunately native icebergs will not be displayed. But please note some of the Global+ features have been implemented, and we hope more will come in the near futures. For example, trading from the TOS Bookmap chart is not yet supported, nor are some of the 3rd party addons like the On-Chart Iceberg Indicator.

regards,

Bruce

You need to subscribe to Bookmap Global or Global+ for at least a month if you want to connect to Rithmic or any other data provider for live futures and stocks data. The free Bookmap Digital version connects automatically to a delayed feed for futures and stocks, as well as one live free data feed to Bitcoin (or crypto currency of your choice).
