About 3-4 months ago I started searching for a way to safeguard my account from any big draw downs/user error. Mainly from me moving my s/l past what my max loss is. After contacting ninjatrader they didn't really have a way to do this and one person said kinetic could but it wouldn't be reliable so I kept searching. I think I made a post in my journal and one of the members of this forum shot me some info and it looked great.
The company was over seas and is called volume ladder trading or VLT GAT
after exchanging a handful of emails with the owner/support I had a great feeling that this is exactly what I wanted so I plopped the 300 some odd dollars down and this is where things started to go south.
First it took about a week to actually get the software. Granted you download everything from his website also he was saying the payment didn't go through a week later I get an email with a bunch of disclosurer info and stuff I have to sign.. guess to be safe in his country or something.
So after all that I download the software and only half of it really works, nothing will save, it's bascially not reliable at all... again after a bunch of emails he finally does a screen share and sees there are issues, he agrees he needs to fix them and asks for a week or so to get them done... to make a long story short this happens 3 more times so about 6 more weeks of waiting. The last time we speak he says he is on vacation and cannot work on the issues and it will be two-three weeks before he can start.
Fast forward 4 weeks later he will now not return my emails.
The software in a nut shell was supposed to be able to set times/$ limits / breaks for losses and you could lock these things so in a moment of stress/panic you couldn't move them and end up hurting your self.
I am giving it until this friday before contact the bank with a fraud charge
I have all the emails if any one is interested
Would recommend everyone stay away from this
and @NinjaTrader needs to build these things into there system as a option.

Was there a trial option?
If purchased by PayPal you should be covered, digital goods can be charged back rather easily with PayPal by stating they do not function, especially if you include documented attempts to contact and resolve with vendor.
Hi - can you report any progress? I also thought about buying the tool. I use the Volume Ladder Chart of the same provider. Except the not existing documention I am happy with the tool as well as the providers individual service.
Thanks - SafruAI

Anyways, at the moment everything seems to be working just fine. The support/owner just fixed everything on the computer and everything I need to use is working. This will be tested on sim before taking it live. If there are any other issues Ill update this

yesterday GAT cost me $1400 . I have now asked for my money back and spoken with my credit card company and will be pursuing a fraud case if I do not receive my money.
I still think this type of system can be great and especially for me since I normally have 1-2 BAD days a month with larger then desired losses BUT this software is not it.
I would say the owner/support has been semi good with communication and if fixed I could see this being an awesome product BUT the facts are at this point it should not be for sale and would recommend anyone who is thinking about buying it to be careful.
will update on the refund.

Who is the owner? Do they have an account on FIO? Is it run by someone named Josue?

I don't think they have an official account but I know someone is here on the forum, when i first posted this thread I got an email with in two minutes from him, so I would say it is safe to say he is watching. I personally don't believe in coincidences and yes his name is Josue.
He is saying in the terms and conditions it says he doesn't have to refund the money, but anyone would assume that when buying something to do certain tasks as advertised it would do them and do them as advertised.
maybe im crazy

Yeah I know of Josue. He is certainly on this forum, but I can't remember his username.
He doesn't offer a free trial to any of his products which is a red flag in itself.
Looking at his website:
10. No Refunds: Licensee warrants that he/she inspected The Software according to "Prior Inspection" herein and that it is adequate to his/her needs. Accordingly, as The Software is intangible goods, Licensee shall not be, ever, entitled to any refund, rebate, compensation, or restitution for any reason whatsoever; even if The Software contains material flaws.
So basically the above statement is saying that no matter what, you won't get your money back. However, The "Prior Inspection" statement is where it is at. If it isn't adequate for your needs then you should be entitled to a refund.
No free trial and no refund policy in this day and age is poor from any vendor. Josue should know better.

its false advertising and well see what the credit card company says. If I don't get my money back Ill be posting all the conversations between the two of us on every single trading related forum out there. And will be going scorched earth on his ass, the fact that he mostly was the one who PM'd me under false identification and sold me a bunch of lies drives me nuts.
and how can you inspect something you dont get to touch before hand, i dont see how that could hold up
..and I would say chase up any other avenue that the Spanish authorities have in place to complain about his business.
If the product(s) was not as advertised, then you have the right to a refund IMO.

Hi, I know it's been a couple of years now since this post, but I'm also looking at the GAT product. I did fill out
the contact message embedded on the website a couple of times to get a 1 on 1 demo before I make a purchase,
but now response yet. So do you think the product has helped you with what it says it can do, and does anyone
know if he has improved his product to fix any major issues? Think it's a great insurance if it works, but if it doesn't,
I'm having a hard time being convinced that I would get a response. Any recent feedback would be appreciated.
