Hi Guys,

This review is long overdue. I never recommend anything that I have not tried at least for 90 days to six months, and it must be good, I am mean so good, I would introduce it to my 90-year-old grandmother.

Toni’s Hansen’s Background:

Toni started off in stocks years ago back when the commissions and fees were ridiculously expensive, well over 20 years. Currently, she trades, Futures, Stocks, and Forex. Toni’s is an Artist/Archeologist by trade. Art is almost like science; there are aspects to painting a picture that is mathematical. She has used her artistic abilities to learn the markets behaviors and to pick apart the markets patterns. She is a self-taught trader. Her trading styles are pattern based in conjunction with using various methods to read price action without indicators, meaning the only indicators that she uses is the price and maybe volume(but she never has volume on her charts). Her six building blocks of price action are pace/momentum, trend development/placement, support and resistance, time development, correction periods, and volume. She doesn’t use Elliot or anything like it, but she uses similar concepts that she developed and breaks it down into layman's terms where anyone can understand, I mean anyone. Toni also explains the market cycles from an artistic point of view.

My experience with Toni Hansen:

I have been working with Toni’s material off and on for well over five years now. Initially, it was in my newb days about five years ago. I was part of her group mentoring program, and I bought her first bundle package which went over her five technical indicators that you could not trade without as well as her market timing course and a few freebies which was really good stuff. As a new trader, it was hard for me to grasp since I was so green. She became ill with a CFS leak, so I ended up putting down her material since I didn’t have the support, I was so overwhelmed.

When she was out I harassed her about every six months to see how she was doing and asked when was she coming back? There were periods that she thought she was coming back and then she continued to have setbacks with her health. Thankfully she has had almost a full recovery and is back at it again.

One of the reasons why I put her material down was I thought it was hard and too complex and I was looking for the easy way to trade, not realizing her methods are super simple and easy. I didn’t know better, really thought indicators were the way since everyone was using and selling them; I was a newb thinking I knew better. Probably the worst decision of my trading career was to put her material down because I would be so much further along than I am today.

Thankfully she is back mentoring/teaching again. So long story short I patiently waited years for her to come back(in that time I struggled, I mean struggled, to figure out trading), so once she came back, I had to jump on the opportunity to work with her again. Most recently, I started back working with her and her material again almost a year ago in private mentoring(both my wife and I), as well as participating in her market timing and advanced trade management boot camps, and took her go at your own pace Fibonacci course.

When I initially started again with Toni this past year, we had a 45-minute phone call since I was doing private mentoring, the call was free. She had me fill out an application form to give her my background in trading and where I am at in my trading career. The first thing she had me do was to remove all the indicators and only keep price action on my charts(no volume), so I could focus on price action, my eyes could be trained on the price, the various patterns, and her technical indicators of price. I was like really no indicators that sucks, but I did follow her direction. She also had me send months of trades, and the mandatory requirement was to journal and to send my trades to her daily since we were private mentoring. Initially we met once weekly, all sessions were/are in Go To Meeting, so I had my sessions to review (which I reviewed multiples times) as well I got feedback when she saw things that needed attention). In our initial call, I asked Toni how long we would need to meet for weekly; she said initially all clients meet weekly for about a year or so, then we would space the sessions out. Following spacing the sessions out, she would review my trades, and point out the patterns in my trading where I needed to modify/improve. It hasn’t even been a year yet, and my sessions are spaced out, and sometimes we chat on the phone to see how I am doing. I guess my point here is there is a big stigma on the forum regarding not using mentors or paying for education because most of them are scam artists, which is true, but I can say Toni Hansen is legit and she is no scam artist. If she were more intrested in my money she would be wanting to make more sessions on top of sessions.

I have increased my account 80 percent in live trading using her methods and techniques. Recouped some losses that I lost trading from another mentor that has put on some webinars(Bollinger Band and 20ema/50ema crossovers) here on f.io. I think what I was missing was what Toni is teaching. If I had that, I could have probably been profitable with the other person.

Who would Toni Hansen be good for?

1. Traders that want to learn price action and to trade it correctly.
2. Traders like me who have failed for years and want to start to become successful.
3. New traders that don’t want to create bad habits and to learn from a pro before they even start making devastating mistakes and learning poor habits.
4. Traders that are about to give up.
5. Traders that want a shortcut.
6. Traders that aren’t trading a strategy.
7. Traders that want trading mastery.
8. Traders that need to learn money management/risk management
9. Traders that are trading a successful technique that want to supercharge their trading.

Who is Toni Hansen not for?

1. Gamblers.
2. People that don’t want to put in the work.

Finally, I would like to post these 2 links up which are discounted. She has not asked me to do so. As you can see I have been a part of this forum since December 2012 and have not promoted myself or anyone.

These are opportunities are going for a little more on her website. Also, she is a trader and not a marketing wizzard so if you cruise over to her sight there is not a ton of BS.

1. The first is being her market timing boot camp. What you get with this is her Market Timing Bootcamp. Price $197.00 her website $999.00
The course comes with six recorded sessions(over 12 hours of education). Covers her strategies and her six building(it says five on her website, but it is really six) blocks of price and how to apply them.
1. Pace
2. Volume
3. Correction Periods
4. Support and Resistance
5. Trend development
6. Time development

Market Timing Boot Camp

2. The second link is a link to her trading chatroom. (League of Traders or LOT) I want to clarify when I say trading chatroom this is education, meaning she is not live trading live, but explaining the building blocks and the strategies that are playing out in the market, day and swing trading. She will call out trades, and explains how to manage them, but she trades off a different machine. Part of the live trading room includes trade alerts and watch list, SMS alerts. The introductory offer is $7.00 for a 1-month trial and then goes up to 97.00 per month. On her website, the monthly offer is 47.00 and then jumps up to 97.00. So with this offer, you are saving a little bit, so the risk is low if you do not end up not liking it or what not.

Here’s Exactly What You’ll Receive:

Live Trading Room, Tuesday & Thursday, 9am – 11am ET
Live trade alerts and updates sent directly to your phone
Member’s Only Monday Mentoring Sessions, 11am ET
Member’s Only Weekly Videos
Special Member’s Only Webinars and Tutorials

League of Traders

(FREE) Friday’s are free; It’s called Friday focus provides market outlook as well as providing education on strategy and her building blocks. Jump over to her website a box should prompt you to sign up for Friday focus, and again it’s free.

Like I stated above I know many of the people on this forum are hung up on not paying for mentoring or education, but isn’t your trading, a business? If you brought in a production consultant into your brick and mortar company to see how you could improve the production of your product, manufacturing, or sales team, that would be the same right?
Lastly, I want to say my only affiliation with Toni Hansen is my wife and I are her clients/private mentees. She is one of the only traders that is selling education that I believe in at this point.
@Big Mike I can remove the paid offers, I just wanted people to have access to the offers since I am not Toni Hansen and not self-promoting, because I am not Toni Hansen. Also, these offers are not on her website.

Here’s a live training she put on recently at the Money Show in Chicago 2018

Three signs of trend exhaustion.

Hi All, Toni Hasen is offering her live course(Recorded, Several Hours, Easy to understand) of her Top 3 Strategies Using Fibonacci(Momentum Reversal, 2T/2B, and Phoenix/Avalanche). This course is several hours and covers templates, building blocks, and offers real market examples.

Toni has helped me make sense of the randomness of the market. The randomness has become easier to interpret, and also not so random as I initially believed. At times, I feel that sharing her information is like giving gold away. I intuitively chose her years ago when I saw one of her recorded presentations on the Trader Kingdom after sorting through so many trading educators/mentors. She was about the only trader/educator/mentor in my opinion that wasn't spouting off BS, getting rich quick, and 90 percent returns. I believe in her workings as they have helped me grow my account 100%+ this year.

This course is not offered or advertised on her website, one of the reasons I am posting. If anyone is interested in learning to trade price action with Fibonacci and is looking to trade simple strategies, this course would be for you. Experience level is for the novice-beginner to advanced. This is a really good offering, and I would recommend for people that have been failing for quite a while(I was one of them).

The course is being offered at a reasonable price, USD 97.00. The live course recently happened.

Perhaps, I made this sound like it was too good to be true. Everyone/vendor has their flaws. Also, what one person can do with a method another person can completely fail. I think what Toni has provided is a good baseline for a new trader to accelerate your trading abilities about 5 years. There is no holy grail. Overall, I took in the good and tossed out the things I didn't like. That's essentially what people need to do, keep what works for you and dump the rest. Pretty much what Toni has done is taken traditional patterns called them something else and broken the the steps down better than reading them in a book or trying to figure out yourself. So trading a traditional pattern a different way pretty much. You still need a ton of screen time to make anything successful.

Thought I would post this because it sounded to great. Thanks!

Since you are an elite member of futures.io for many years, I appreciate you took the time to write. Your review may not be intended as a commercial but I still considered promo in disguise.

Some of your text like "who is Toni Hansen for" and "who is Toni Hansen not for" would have come straight from trading promoters' presentation screens. Promoters used these slides a lot because it gets them off the hook to be responsible. If I were to write a renew, I wouldn't have copied and pasted the promotional pages. For the last 10 years, I have gone through many systems, gurus and fake gurus alike, schools, and over-priced indicators, etc. If junk mails come through your mailbox, I probably have gotten involved or checked them out. I am like those online suckers or so-called hyper responsive targets by the marketers. In short, I have a lot of experience been suckered. <laughing at myself>

I have not taken Toni's class so I am not here to review her specific material. Shown from your videos, her contents are not that unique, however. If her methods appealed to you, good for you. What I want to say is a warning to futures.io members that most teaching educators probably can't trade their way out of a paper bag. You have to think like that when they don't show brokerage statements from 12 months or more. Anyone can show you a "good trade" while never showed the account-blown-up trade. Anybody who can understand my point could save tens of thousands dollars.

It has been some time since your original post. Are you still excited about Honi Hansen and remain profitable with proof?

Haha, cool. Much appreciated feedback. She's good for the most part. Essentially what she will teach you is how to read flags/Elliot Wave corrections better, but she doesn't refer to them as those. She wasn't aware of Elliot Wave when she first started and created her material. After thinking about it, that's a hard one to believe.

Her strategies appear to be built around Elliot Wave, but not articulated as such.

For instance, one of her strategies the "Phoenix" is the first pullback in the EW cycle(3rd Wave or ABC). Another Strategy, the 2T Double Top with A flush/Double Top, is the fifth Wave of Elliot. Another Strategy she has is the momentum reversal it's equivalent to the ending diagonal.

What she will do is essentially almost hand hold you and walk you through the minuscule details of each pattern and the variations. She doesn't call it Elliot Wave, but it is for the most part if you compare the methodology. She makes it easier to understand.

Am I still profitable, yes, have I had setbacks, yes. Am I still growing into the Market Strategist I want to become, yes. Always growing, and always learning from mistakes.

If you take Elliot Wave and her material and put them together, you can pretty much guarantee success unless you are an undisciplined trader.

If you want to become a trader, trading is more of a waiting game than a participation game. I prefer to think of myself as a market strategist instead of a trader; it’s a better fit. The act of trading is boring; learning to trade is boring; seeing your self-growth is the best part of it. It’s exciting to see the progress. Trading isn't about placing trades, it’s about waiting for the right ones.

Really all you need is https://www.amazon.com/Technical-Analysis-Financial-Markets-Comprehensive/dp/0735200661 a ton of screen time. Or someone to show you the way.

After all the education I have been through. This is the only book you need. If you can comprehend it, you can make it work. If you can stick one method, you can become successful.

Good luck on your journey.

If anyone goes to Toni, it's really important you have a good understanding of Elliott Wave. Otherwise, it is hit or miss with the patterns. Her 5 technical indicators are helpful though.
