But, and this is a big but, if your latency to the VPS is high and/or with a not too great Internet bandwidth, things will look sluggish with a bunch of charts/DOMs blinking …
Ah no, it won't work, that's why I suggest @Obelixtrader to ask around.
He tried Beeks in HK but it doesn't seems to be a success...
I had few guys asking for something similar (account with Interactive Brokers hosted in Hong-Kong looking for a low network latency) and I told them we were not (at Speedy) the good option and I had a feedback from few of them that:
- HK was quite bad for colo (unreliable and expensive)
- Singapore is not that far and much better
But that's all I know, I don't have any provider's name to provide.
At Speedy we only have servers in Chicago, New-Jersey and in Europe but nothing in Asia (and it's not planned).
Its very intersting now have connected to the VPS by Beek ping is again 4ms round turn and software for time synchronization is working again and can connect to the times server? Its seems that on friday after asian markets close they disconects something and then conncet back on monday morning. Will download some monitoring tolls and I will be monitoring this week. And after then will decide if i will stay with them or will go to Singapore.IF someone have experience with a VPS in Singapore and want to share it I will be very happy
