Can anyone recommend a good option education course?
There are plenty of books on the subject, even free pdf files of whole books if you were looking for a cheap alternative to expensive courses. In addition to that there are a lot of courses online on YouTube. I'm sorry if I didn't answer your question but the amount of material for free online is your best bet in my humble opinion.
Full disclosure: I am not a shill and do not get a penny for sharing my 2cents. Do not spend a dime on options courses. Hands down the best options education on Earth is through TastyTrade/Dough, TastyWorks(brokerage) ; Tom Sosnoff and his team are the ivy league of options trading tools, education and success. Best of all it's FREE!!! Doesn't hurt that his resumé also includes creating the gold standard in an options platform which TD Ameritrade was smart enough to buy out, as opposed to building their own from scratch. Good luck on your journey options are tough at first but it's worth the ride if you stick it out.
A good place to get video courses is Udemy. They periodically have sales where they reduce prices to 5% of the full cost. So from $200 to $10. They have quite a few courses there on options. Have a look at the reviews before you buy and you can also get a refund within 30 days if you don't like a course.
I can concur on Udemy as far as education on various subjects like finance, Excel, programming. I've never taken a course on trading or options from there so I couldn't comment as far as that aspect is concerned. But they are great for learning various things if your actually able to buckle down and go through each section/slide.
Options Volatility and Pricing by Sheldon Natenberg and Options as a Strategic Investment by Lawrence McMillan are the go to books. TastyTrade has tons of free videos on their site. Options Alpha also has great easy to follow videos as well.
