I certainly respect and understand your points and where you are coming from. I too own the software, purchased all of it. So we are in the same boat there. Like you I have a choice to make, pay the upgrade fee (for all three versions), lease the product when new versions come out or do nothing. I'm perfectly happy with the way the software is now, it accomplishes a lot for me.

There is extensive documentation on the website as to the settings and functionality. Ferenc has done an excellent job documentation the use and settings of the system.

I have to respectfully disagree on the SIM aspect of this. I traded this in SIM for a good while to learn the nuances of the system and the style. It is THE place not to blow yourself up. You have to focus on the process not the dollars won. You do need to focus on the dollars lost as part of the process as where to place your stops (near the opposite Keltner, or pivot ), this is part of the learning curve. This sums up the process in a nutshell: .

We follow this process day in and day out. Do we lose, you bet, do we win, yes we do. From what I gather you have what you need to trade SIM and prove to yourself this can work, just internalize the process so it's yours, matched to your account size and risk tolerance.

Here is an example of me trying to get long MCL on the daily (I usually trade the 240M, but the setup is there). Note the blue algo arrows where the system went long.

MCL

@faithdefender I thought it would be beneficial to show you the other side of the coin with the pullback method of trading. As mentioned above I was trying to get long on the daily MCL as the bull flag had formed. I insisted on a trigger for entry at $87.54 which never came. One benefit to this method and waiting for confirmation of the directional move out of the channel, is if the trade doesn't get triggered so there is no harm done. You can see the bull flag or pullback failed and our account remains intact.

It is really nice of you to post these examples. I will certainly study them.

To your last post, I agree that SIM has value, but what I was trying to say is if I dont understand how the indicators work, how can I understand how to test them in SIM? (Does that make any sense?)

I was looking at the indicator by ARPS because it displays bull and bear flags. (its not cheap plus I wish I could know before I buy that it helps) I just dont have a good eye for identifying them. It is a blessing for those who do see them because it just doesnt come naturally for some of us. I have a friend that also trades and he says after ten years he still misses them.

Thank you
