Can you help answer these questions from other members on futures io?
"Free markets work because they allow people to be lucky, thanks to aggressive trial and error, not by giving rewards or incentives for skill. The strategy is, then, to tinker as much as possible and try to collect as many Black Swan opportunities as you can"

Anyone interested in starting a free room trading futures and everyone put in what they have learned or what works or does not work for them. I am not paying thousands for these sites that claim they have developed special software and take your hare earned money.

Well, I had a judgement lapse and paid the $2000 to get into the Pro9 Elite group and have been sorry ever since. Todd has refused to give me my money back, I guess I am just another sucker that failed to use good judgement. In his sales pitch I don't recall him ever saying that they do not trade live with their system. They follow several different futures contracts including oil, EMD, NQ, TF and others. They show tantalizing results, but they look at charts of the entire field of 6 or so commodities that they are following and then pick the best one to say, see how much money you could have made following our rules. The problem is picking the right commodity to trade for that day. If one could always pick the right one, there would be money to be made. Unfortunately this is much harder in real time than it is after the fact. I would suggest staying away from Academy Day Trading and their expensive system. It will take me a few Social Security checks to cover this one along with my living expenses. Trying to trade their system with a small account just hasn't worked for me. Also the fills they show are not generally attainable, especially on the EMD. I typically experience a 2 tick slippage on most fills for the EMD.
I believe that PA is probably the best thing and if one can stay on top of that, it will work and doesn't require the $2000 outlay.
Once again, my advice is to stay far away from Todd Rampe (Academy Day Trading).
