Fair enough i didnt realise the Canadian connection but given most of his prior user base was likely american was still desperate and gimmicky
And yes any fool who gets sucked into paying another round of this 'rebrand' should not be complaining 6 months down the line when it backfires. Also why would 'top' software industry professionals work on this brand given its history ... no track record and the distinct disingenuous trading nature of SK - alot of self proclaimed narcissistic promotion

As the owner of GZT (Golden Zone Trading Inc.) I’ve decided to take this opportunity to approach this forum & shed light on facts vs fiction so we can all get on the same page moving forward.

Let’s get the elephant out of the room by saying things happen in life that is really hard, disturbing and scary especially when it comes to health. For those of you that don’t know, I am a recovering addict/alcoholic and at the time of starting GZT I had many years of sobriety and had been working with several respected companies in the industry. There have been some really harsh things said on here about the nature of our services and the actions of me and my company that I think need to be addressed and brought to light.

At the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017, I went through a serious separation with my fiancée and ended up relapsing with addiction as I was not strong enough to face life on life’s terms. This is the nature of my disease and I am not here to use it as a scapegoat but merely be as real as it takes, to be honest, humble and of service moving forward.
Addiction is a serious disease. It’s so serious that private, public and government occupations put programs in place to help those affected by it. It’s so real it hurts family, friends and businesses alike. Most importantly it’s one of the leading causes of deaths and suicides in the world.

As an addict/alcoholic in recovery, I would like to first say that I am grateful to be alive. I had 2 very serious situations where death was very real in my life and I almost didn’t make it. Looking back, no forum, negative comment, upset customer or hate mail can ever change the fact that I am still grateful to be alive today. I would not wish addiction on even my worst enemy as I live it first hand and realize what it takes to be humble and make the changes necessary to live healthy and well. I am in recovery now and have never been better, stronger and more capable of leading.
I would like to apologize first hand if my absence hurt you in any way and if you feel you have still haven’t received the service you paid for by me or my company. Since my return, I have been working with many respected and qualified people in our industry to help rebuild the reputation of GZT as well as myself so we can provide products and services ongoing.

We have worked diligently to repair and restructure contingency plans to allow for a much stronger infrastructure and offering. I am not the only beating heart of the firm anymore and as we continue to grow and be of greater value, my team is more than qualified to be of service in ways that I could never have been on my own in the past.
When I first started working in this industry, I worked in many roles. I was a business owner, a marketer, a software architect, an educator and now I am mostly a team manager as I am able to step back and let others do a much better job at helping others as a team rather than me trying to do it all myself.

This being said, the big question is “So what? How does this apply to the thread, the comments, the concerns etc.?”
I would like to address the following questions and concerns from this thread and put things in perspective based on facts vs fiction.

There have been many written comments and I think it needs to be put in correct form so those who are involved with us on a regular basis can see these are accurate assessments and those who are contributing to this form in a negative way can come forth in error as it’s simply a matter of opinion rather than facts.

In writing this, I understand I might be opening up this thread to both positive and negative feedback but it’s important to set the bar straight and put to rest the stuff that really has no bearing on current and future operations of GZT.

1. Many people have questioned my credibility as a trader. In the past, I ran one of the largest trade rooms in the Ninjatrader ecosystem. At our peak capacity we had over 200+ traders and in all honesty, I should have positioned myself as a trading educator, not a professional full-time trader. Yes, I have traded live accounts in the past however since the inception of GZT I truly did not have the time to trade and run the company at the same time the way we were structured. I have however talked to hundreds of our customers and they said I was one of the best educators they have ever experienced. Some will like me, some will hate and the end result was that I do my best each day to serve and add value to help those with less experience become more accomplished in the markets using our tools and resources.

2. Another aspect of my credibility was my schooling and licenses. I am a Canadian Resident and Citizen. I have successfully completed a 3-year advanced diploma at Algonquin College in Ottawa Canada with consecutively the highest cumulative GPA 3 years running in the entire School of business. I was the founder and president of the Finance club and to the current date, this is one of the largest student organizations still in operations. As part of this program, I also successfully completed the CSC (Canadian Securitas Course) however many people questioned this due to not being registered with the CSA (Canadian Securities Administration). Truthfully I am not required to register and I will never register as I am not a Financial Advisor nor do I manage client money. The purpose of registering and being a paid member of their society is only required when working for financial institutions or service firms. In essence, my credentials were my sole efforts to learn and better my exposure to the securities markets as I went through school. I am uploading these credentials to this thread so you can see firsthand the successful completion of the certifications.

3. One of the biggest questions and discussions in the thread was based on strategy performance. It’s important we address this as clearly as possible. 50% of our company business model is Trade Rooms, Education, and Live Market Exposure. The other 50% of our company operations is strictly indicator sales. With this in mind, it’s important to understand that as a software company for the financial markets industry, we continue to designs new products and will continue to sell new indicators as this is 50% of our company objectives. Not everyone wants to join our trade rooms or trade the way our instructors do therefore this should not stop people from using our software and finding value in the way they use it.

4. Another big discussion is the trade room, the Old Mastery Program and the newly revamped (Online Futures Program). I’ll start with the Mastery Program, as this seems to be one of the more pressing concerns for some. Since the inception of GZT, I designed an all-inclusive program to allow for all software and trade room services to be packaged into one. During this time I ran the trade room and education classes by myself. Up until I got sick and was faced with my absence, many traders succeeded using the methods I taught and many people did not. If you have any knowledge of this industry or any experience trading, we can all agree that not everyone will be successful no matter how hard the trade rooms try and no matter how good the software is. It’s also safe to say that some customers purchased our program and loved it and some purchased it and did not share the same experience.

This in mind, since my return and restructuring of the company my goal was to make the old mastery program better than it could have ever been before.

A) I decided to hire multiple qualified traders to teach multiple trade rooms. This diversified the learning across different strategies as well as different educators to allow for a dynamic environment. In doing so we grandfathered all past customers in and have given them ongoing access without continued subscription costs despite our change in revenue model to switch from all purchase cost to monthly subscriptions. In the long run, all past customers will be saving money under this new modal and they actually get 2 times more than what was offered before with less company risk. Not only did we offer this, we have several additional products away for free to show we cared and were prepared to go the extra mile to make things right.

B) We have strong support, top of the line software, multiple trade rooms, multiple instructors, new educational content as well as contingency plans in place to secure the wellbeing of the services, products, and company so it’s not all hinging on me the owner. This was a decision I made to ensure the future stability of all our customers, our products, and services.

5. I think it’s equally important to mention that during my illness my actions and situations not only affected the GZT reputation, services, and trust but it also indirectly tarnished the reputation of Ninjatrader, and some of the partners I worked with. It’s important to mention the names of my main JV operations partners and the staff so that we can separate any questionable relationships during this time.

A) Jeremy Tang & SharkIndicators had nothing to do with my illness, my actions, my situation or my business. In fact, he and his team did everything they could to support GZT in helping us stabilize, and continue to support our customers until they were left with no choice but to pull back to protect their own company image and service. I am truly grateful for their efforts, friendship and humanness as they did the best they could. They should not be blamed or held responsible for anything other than being the perfect partners any owner and company could wish to work with. The SharkIndicators team, brand and product line is one of the best in our industry and it’s important to note they are the real deal when it comes to being a leader and pillar in our business space. In fact, working with SharkIndicators was one of the reasons GZT became so noticed. It was in their brand and their stellar operational status that I actually had the opportunity. Had it not been for SharkIndicators GZT would never have existed nor been able to service 1000’s of clients worldwide. It is to them I owe all my success as a business owner. I would highly recommend them to any trader as they truly care and are able to support their products and service 110% all the time.

B) My second concern and apology are to address Ninjatrader as a platform and brokerage. First, it’s worth noting, they did everything they could, given the situation. More importantly, they were more concerned for our large customer base and how they could help. On another note, had Ninjatrader not existed, GZT would not have even been possible. It’s to them, I owe gratitude and respect for the hard work they do to provide a platform space and environment for companies like us to operate and provide services. Moving forward, it’s important to note that our products are still usable on their platform however we are not an ecosystem promoted partner as they felt it was necessary to remove all risk associated with my condition. As the owner of GZT, I respect their decision and still express gratitude towards being allowed to still provide products for use on their platform. We have since developed our own licensing system and are not linked to their platform for operations other than strictly charting and order facilitation to the exchange as a platform/brokerage. We greatly appreciate this all things considering.

C) The last category of people that need to be brought to light is the previous staff and people who were part of my team. First, it’s important to note that my heart goes out to them and their families for the disruption in job security as well as stress levels this must have caused on the team as a whole. We had several departments running during the time of my illness and it’s critical, I make things right for them and their reputation onward. I am going to write this in the form of each department so we can express each individual acknowledgment to clear their name as best as possible.

Raul Jimenez (A.K.A the famous GZT RJ Support) - RJ was like a second father to me and wanted nothing more than to ensure my safety and the wellbeing of me and my family. His big heart went the extra mile because he truly cared about the company, the team and most importantly the customers. Many people reading this understand how hard he tried to help and as someone who directly impacted his life and his family my apologies are just the beginning to my efforts to rectify our relationships and past. It’s important to note, RJ had no involvement in my actions other than to do what was ethically and morally right. He even tried filling in to teach the trade rooms to fix the situation as best as possible. Despite his efforts, he could not bear this all himself and is in no way to be held responsible for anything other than being credible, integral and trustable in our industry. As an active member of the CMT Society its imperative I state he is to be trusted, respected and most importantly qualified to develop and teach traders using his products and service with I-Cinder and I Cinder trader.

Gen Jimenez (Marketing) – Gen was introduced via RJ and was a Rockstar performer. She was truly an asset to the team and unfortunately, the situation created an unbearable working environment for her to continue. During her time here she wore many hats. She was one of the fastest learners I have ever seen and more important (as a non- trader, she was responsible for working with our team to produce over a years’ worth of valuable trading copy, blog articles and assisted in over 50 webinar presentations with traders globally. Her skills will be missed and most importantly it is of the sincere apologies that I express importance to remove any ties of my actions to her as an individual. Gen worked hard to handle the customer support alongside RJ and most importantly was there for me as a struggling addict when times were tough mentally and physically. She was a sounding board for my mental health concerns and most importantly made me feel comfortable to get help. Gen is a wonderful person and should only be viewed in this way. She will be truly missed.

Stephen Wasson – (Aka the GZT Sales Rep) Stephen was actually a close friend to me especially when times were at their worst. As a devoted Christian, Stephen actually was a contributing factor in my recovery alongside RJ. Stephen not only was a valued Mastery Member who came up through the ranks to work with us because he believed in me, the company and the products/services but also because we were valued and respected by so many traders during the time he came on board. When my illness took a turn for the worst, Stephen was actually at the heart of the negative PR and in my humble apologies, He should not have been ridiculed or persecuted for his involvement in the company. Both He and RJ got the worst of the negative publicity and it is the sincere apologies that I rectify their involvement. Stephen was not only a valued client, he actually cared about seeing the traders succeed. Both he and RJ shared this passion. They were and are not to blame as both Stephen and RJ were merely trying to help save my life and the state of the company. As it stands now, I truly owe my gratitude to him for doing what most people would have been afraid to face, which was get involved personally and try to help me and my family. I owe a lot to these men and I am truly sorry for the negative situations that may have sprung out of this in terms of industry recognition.

Nick Vanderburgh – Unfortunately Nick was affected directly as he was filling in near the end for my trade room moderator position. Nick was a great trader and his reputation speaks for itself as we still have requests for his insight and experience. During the time of my illness Nick and I worked closely to provide high-level services to the program and unfortunately, the situation took a turn for the worst with my health and he was left with no choice but to leave GZT. He is not to blame or be held responsible for anything other than being a great trader and trying to help any way possible with me and my old team.

JV vendors, marketing partners, coding services and fellow business owners – During the first couple years of operations, GZT was viewed as a powerhouse company who ran lots of webinars, hired lots of development companies, ran multiple service offerings and contributed to many multi-day lead generation events. In doing so I worked closely with many of you and it’s hard to gauge the direct or indirect impact my illness had on our relationships other than what has been brought to my intentions since my return. I am still working with many of you and only hope to rebuild the relationships we once had moving forward given the corporate structure is now in a more stable and safe environment for contingent risk. We understand situations like this are never planned and are indirectly avoided at all costs however as humans life happens and we do our best to bounce back stronger and more efficient wherever possible. My apologies are extended to any blowback or concerns that may have come from my health scare and I sincerely hope we can continue to work together in the future.

In Closing, I would like to thank those of you for taking the time to read this in its entirety. Public PR efforts are not something I ever planned to do but it has been a humbling and realistic experience for me, my company and my efforts to be a better man, leader, and trusted business owner. First, let me address the fact that Recovery from active addiction and alcoholism is my primary focus as health is always number one and will continue to be my main effort in life.

Secondly, GZT is now stronger and better than ever before. We have a very skilled and qualified team of traders, marketers, and support. With them, I am able to work on the business and not so much in the business leaving room for leadership, recovery, balance, and change.

I humbly thank Futures IO for providing the platform to address this situation across multiple people. I humbly respect those who have emailed us directly and sent concern, feedback, love, friendship and committed business trust. We work hard to provide top of the line products and services and will strive to never drop the ball.

As a fellow human, I thank all of you for emailing me directly after my return to share your concern, love, and willingness to accept and help me through such a tough time. My heart goes out to all of you whom my actions affected. Given the circumstances, its safe to say that rebounding from such situations bring all of us closer together. This in mind, I personally thank all of you for your trust, your business, and your continued support.

Asides from this, if you are still concerned, have questions or would like to discuss your direct situation, please email me directly at [email protected] I will gladly work with you personally so we can ensure a comfortable experience moving forward.

If you are new and reading this and have questions about our trade room, our services, strategy performance or our product line, we have everything posted in transparent view (Including moderator performance) directly on our website at https://nstradingacademy.com/). As the owner of GZT, thank you for trusting our efforts to provide products and services and most important God Bless!

I have several GZT indicators and am happy with them. My communication with email has been prompt and professional.
I even inquired about an older indicator and strategy and was actually sent that indicator, which I did not expect.

I have been in the trade rooms and the educators are real people who both win and losses. The veteran traders know it's how you manage your losses. These guys were fair and transparent.

It's unfortunate others have had bad experiences, let's hope that is in the past and will no longer be an issue. In no way am I downplaying anyone elses posts. I posted this as my experiences were good with GZT to contrast the bad ones, as well as Sean Kozak seems to be trying to legitimately address former bad blood.

I want anyone out there to "demo" anything in life and see how it goes.
Demo cooking, fixing a toilet, accounting, or anything else and then try it in real life.
I want to see how far it goes.

Or now that I am in my mid 40's and going through midlife crisis, I think I need an old sports car to look better.
So to save money I will watch all the car fixing shows on Velocity, and then buy a hammer and blowtorch and pretend to weld things and hammer them after but without the car. Then I will buy an oldie on eBay, try to fix it, and ride into the Boca Raton sunset. Yeah right...

Trading is no different. it's hard, take practice and experience to get ahead. It's a complex game of analysis, emotions and the ability to go through tough times. I wish there would be shortcuts, but there aren't.

Good one.
Jokingly
HaHa... I'd like to think I'd like to demo more of the experiences of people in their 20s... but antibiotics, hospital bills, crash helmets won't cover it all.

So much information. I don't think Kozak has did himself any favors.

"Stephen Wasson – (Aka the GZT Sales Rep) Stephen was actually a close friend to me especially when times were at their worst. As a devoted Christian" In full knowledge of the problems with Kozak and GZT continued selling and promoting GZT software and the Mastery Program right up until the last day of GZT. What a joke. Wasson, as well as Kozak, both should be sued and with all the admissions in his statement, there is plenty of ammo to proceed in that direction.

I also note on your Sean Kozak handle where you say you are advanced. You must be truthful and change that to NEWBY. You admit you don't trade live. Come on Sean.

So it seems that GoldenZoneTrading has decided to rebrand to Neurostreet (https://neurostreet.com/). @Big Mike could you please change the title of this thread to reflect this?

They're also bringing out a new addon called GoldenFibs_System_MTF which is advertised as a semi-system (whatever the f*k that means) which turns out NOT not to be a system but is actually an indicator *yawn*. One of the items in the agenda is -One Time Only Launch Promo + Upgrade Pricing.

Here's the link to the video:

I assume the Upgrade Pricing suggests that they are going to try to flog the software to people who have previously bought the LIFETIME GoldenFibs at an upgrade price even though it was advertised as LIFETIME!

Kozak should be in prison, not setting up another scam site. He can't even trade. WTF. STAY AWAY.
