As many of you know, I have been absent from Golden Zone Trading on and off for the past year. Please accept my most sincere apologies for any inconvenience you may have experienced as a result of my “disappearances”.

I have been suffering from mental health problems. This is not be an excuse for my behaviour, however, it is my deepest hope that you can understand and empathise with what I have gone through and am still going through. I overcame two near-death experiences and am currently working with both counsellors and doctors to get the help I need to remain alive and healthy. My condition is improving every day, and I am now picking things up where I had left them off.

Let me be the first to reassure those of you who use NinjaTrader, they will continue to support our software. That being said, in the coming months, Golden Zone Trading (GTZ) will be putting in place a new licensing provider service in order to provide a more reliable and efficient way for you to maintain and manage your license keys on an ongoing basis.

I am happy to report that our software is stable on NinjaTrader 7 (NT7) and that NinjaTrader 8 (NT8) is in Beta. Although we cannot provide you with a release date at this time, we are working avidly to release it shortly. This will take place once the new licensing provider service is in place.

As for the Mastery Program, our goal is to move to alternative delivery models that will allow for educational support that is not predicated on my personal involvement alone and that is based on our software rather than on signals and trade systems. As such, we will be filming a new set of videos that will be available in the member’s area. My intention is to set up the program in a way that either I, or an outside moderator who is well versed in the software, can teach lessons on the different topics related to the use of the software and the tool-set that you purchased.

As for user support, I will be answering your emails as I continue on my path to recovery. We are also working on a potential Q&A webinar where topics of interest could be discussed by the user community. Date for this is to be determined

Notwithstanding my prolonged absence, the company is financially stable and will continue to provide you with services moving forward. We have resumed working on various development projects that were left unfinished at the time of my departure and that offer promising opportunities for the future. We are hoping to roll out these improvements at the earliest opportunity.

In order to show our appreciation to our Mastery Program members during this difficult period, Golden Zone Trading is happy to provide you with the following products for FREE:

To conclude, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your patience and understanding through this dark period of my life. I also wish to thank those from RJ5 Group and SharkIndicators, the team at GTZ, as well as others who did everything they could to hold things together during my absence. These individuals are not to be blamed for any shortcomings on my part, but instead should be praised for their efforts to help during my absence.

So anyone hear any new news?

Nothing. Have you?

I tried GZT mastery and lost my butt using his system. In all fairness this was in 2015 before he was using market profile levels, he was only using his zones as support and resistance. The problem with his supply and demand zones is that they are drawn on your screen based on candle patterns. When the candle pattern shows up the software then draws a mini market profile inside the zone to give you entry points. The problem with the system is that candle patterns only work about 30% of the time.

I watched his trade room every week for about 6 months. During that time he lost a lot more money than he made. He did openly state he was trading in sim because of Canadian laws.

I did not like his system and did not make money. I like higher percentage systems.

On the opposite side though. I do have a friend who uses GZT zones and loves them. She does not use the GZT system for stops though.

What she does is utilize the response from his zones to move her stop to Break even. Seans zones usually do provide a response, albeit a small response many times, in the market. My friend moves her stop to BE as soon as she is ahead a few ticks and does not let the trades go against her ever. She gets stopped out a lot but has been profitable with it.

The system just depends on your trading style.

Sean sent all of his clients a letter saying he apologizes for the "inconvenience" his absence has caused us. It was much more than an inconvenience to have you go away for months without the slightest regard for your customers. Then, once again, you go radio silent. All we have heard from Canada since your letter is nothing but crickets chirping. Once again, lots of promises, but no delivery on those promises.

Come on Sean, you can do better than that. Man up.

I'm delighted to write this email as we are just around the corner from opening the doors back up for the new and revamped (Mastery Program). The program has been reconfigured under the new name - “Online Futures Training Program.”

We have had several emails coming in after I addressed the public a few weeks ago and I have so much to share with all of you. First, I want to thank all of you for your kind words of encouragement and blessings. I'm grateful for your loyal business and support.

Secondly, I have hired an entirely new team to run GZT. The new team will allow for a more secure organisation powered by a dynamic environment of seasoned professionals. Once we open the doors up for our education, I will introduce them accordingly.

As for what to expect with regards to our on-going services, please see the notes below:
1. We are rolling out a whole new website with a new members area and training videos.
2. I have hired an expert trader and GZT customer who is well versed in our products to run the live training room full-time!
3. We will resume education lessons on Tuesdays and have live application classes Wednesdays and Thursdays.
4. In our on-going quest to deliver valuable education to our members, will we demonstrate new and diverse methods for using our tools. There will be less emphasis on trading signals and more focus on trading techniques, software use, and market analysis training.
5. Rest assured, you are automatically part of the new program and software delivery model.
6. Regarding NT8 is in beta, and once we open the room, we will have our programming team switch gears and pick up where they left off.
7. Finally, I believe in rewarding loyalty. As an added gift, we are giving you licenses to our entire product line. You can look forward to more details as we roll out the program.
Moving forward, please allow my team and me to tie up loose ends so that when we roll this out, it surpasses your expectations. In the interim, we appreciate your patience and understanding. It's important to us to make this a memorable experience. Stay tuned!
