I have read this entire thread with interest as a couple of my trading friends purchased GZT and have been very concerned with recent developments. I myself, never purchased anything from GZT, thankfully. I did see some of his webinars. Sean is a very good salesperson.

I have been burned by other vendors and wasted money on things that did not work. Such is the path of learning to trade it seems.

People have been ripped off and are rightfully very angry. At the same time, some would appear to want to burn the house down because they found a stain on the wall.
As stated earlier your anger is properly directed at Sean Kozak and GZT. Other vendors such as Shark Indicators should not be tarnished because of Sean's bad business practices.

I own Bloodhound and Blackbird from Shark Indicators. If people go after them to hurt their business, then innocent traders like myself, who find their products helpful, may be damaged. SI develops and sells tools. That is all. They do not run rooms. They are separate and distinct from GZT. They have no culpability in the failure of GZT and I appreciate Jeremy Tang setting the record straight in this thread.

I think it is healthy for the trading community to go after charlatans with laser focus and expose them. But a laser is better than a shotgun. Not every person who ever had their name associated with a bad apple is thereby rotten by association. The proverb in this case does not apply.

I do not expect people will recover any money from GZT. When do they ever?
I hope for the sake of my friends and all who purchased GZT that he keeps the licensing open at NT for those who wish to continue to use the indicators.
Better yet, they will find better trading methods less dependent on indicators.

That's the big question that purchases face. Mr GZT will most likely set a new scam site up and resell the licenses. So far he hasn't responded to any emails, phone calls so I wouldn't be holding your breath hoping he will do the right thing. I hope karma hits him hard.

I am a bit late to this and just went through last few months of posts. I have an existing license for PP and was wondering if anyone here knows how to get around the licensing aspect? As I need to upgrade my computer fairly soon. Could it be hacked? After all those customers who have paid for what its worth?

Please be aware that licensing is NOT done by any server from GZT. All licensing was recorded on the NinjaTrader servers which is provided to the software developers.
As long as you continue to run the software on the same computer that it is now licensed you should not experience any issue related to licensing.
The real issue is what will happen if you update the BIOS, buy a new computer, Upgrade Operating System. -- in such cases there is no way to license the new computer. Licensing was done using 3rd Party licensing option guidance provided by NinjaTrader.

As many of you know, I have been absent from Golden Zone Trading on and off for the past year. Please accept my most sincere apologies for any inconvenience you may have experienced as a result of my “disappearances”.

I have been suffering from mental health problems. This is not be an excuse for my behaviour, however, it is my deepest hope that you can understand and empathise with what I have gone through and am still going through. I overcame two near-death experiences and am currently working with both counsellors and doctors to get the help I need to remain alive and healthy. My condition is improving every day, and I am now picking things up where I had left them off.

Let me be the first to reassure those of you who use NinjaTrader, they will continue to support our software. That being said, in the coming months, Golden Zone Trading (GTZ) will be putting in place a new licensing provider service in order to provide a more reliable and efficient way for you to maintain and manage your license keys on an ongoing basis.

I am happy to report that our software is stable on NinjaTrader 7 (NT7) and that NinjaTrader 8 (NT8) is in Beta. Although we cannot provide you with a release date at this time, we are working avidly to release it shortly. This will take place once the new licensing provider service is in place.

As for the Mastery Program, our goal is to move to alternative delivery models that will allow for educational support that is not predicated on my personal involvement alone and that is based on our software rather than on signals and trade systems. As such, we will be filming a new set of videos that will be available in the member’s area. My intention is to set up the program in a way that either I, or an outside moderator who is well versed in the software, can teach lessons on the different topics related to the use of the software and the tool-set that you purchased.

As for user support, I will be answering your emails as I continue on my path to recovery. We are also working on a potential Q&A webinar where topics of interest could be discussed by the user community. Date for this is to be determined

Notwithstanding my prolonged absence, the company is financially stable and will continue to provide you with services moving forward. We have resumed working on various development projects that were left unfinished at the time of my departure and that offer promising opportunities for the future. Sean Kozak and GZT is all BS.

Sean can not trade. His system does'nt work nor has it been back tested correctly. The back-testing results are a complete joke, I don't even think he knows how to back-test. Yet he claims to use these tests as his format to trade Sim but never live. He will not show his live trade logs using the same BS excuse for legal reasons. blah blah. He always shows a sim account, never a live account. So why doesn't he get the technology to copy his sim trades to his live account, This way he can navigate any legalities. But he won't. WHY? Because his system does not work or is profitable.

It always amazes me when i log into the traderoom there will be a pre market winner on his screens however once the room is open and he begins to trade like some cowboy gunslinger from the wild west you begin to see all the loss's', and there are plently. Hey Folks. thats trading. lol. Now lets open 2 more trades as fast as we can to make that loss back, Whoops!!!!! 2 more losses . But hey folks, THATs TRADING FOLKS.

This is a warning to any customers buying or thinking to purchase GZT. Buyer Beware. Very aware, Extremely aware, in fact get you best runners on and run Forest run. Trading is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you will get. At least with the chocolates you get some pleasure, unlike GZT where you get snake oil and sour grapes.
