I do not have direct experience with him but since he is endorsed by Lace Beggs (my all time favorite trader and trading author) I think he is genuine. As far as I know you can start small with Mike's approach and go further if you like it.
Just stumbled on this thread.
I've used Mike Reed's Tradestalker service for 2 years or so, and took his training 'camp'.
He's a good guy, always answers questions and is a terrific trader.
Kind of old school, just a few charts, 5 min, 2 min and TICK.
Publishes very accurate S/R areas every night.
Tweets commentary throughout the day.
And, very reasonable price for his service.
Has an e'book of trade setups and an explanation of his methods. Not the holy grail (what is), but definitely a sound method.
I bought the ebook which talked about chart patterns mostly - double tops/bottoms, things like that. I didn't find the ebook particularly helpful myself but I suppose it would be okay for someone who is completely new to markets. Though all of the information in the ebook could be gained elsewhere, Mike does put it together in one place so that's maybe worth paying for instead of spending time looking here and there.
The book came with a 2-week free nightly update on SR levels as well as 2 weeks of his live chat, which is just him talking about the market. The live chat transcripts are posted on the website days/weeks later so you can read though them while you look at that days chart and get a feel for what you could be getting. I think I spent most or all of the first week logged into his chat comments and then stopped, forgoing my "free" second week. His commentary really isn't helpful at all IMO. He will say things like "the market has to hold here or it might go down, if it holds here it will probably go up". No shit Sherlock. What he does not post in his chat are the things he talks about in his ebook; the particular setups that you should be looking out for; he will never say something like "if the market rejects this level we have a double top in that can be sold with an 'x' tick stop". Given the setups discussed in the ebook, I would have thought that there would be at least some mention of these in his live chat, but I have never seen one, not during the week I spent watching the chat or the transcripts I looked through that were posted on his website.
All in all, okay for someone just starting out but it's not going to be a complete trading education and you're not going to get anything out of the chat feed.
