I just signed up for the membership with Lizard Indicators. As a member, we have access to NT7 indies, and can also try a free trial on the NT8 indies. The only thing is, it offers NT7 indicators on the download.I know i must be mistaken here, maybe looking in the wrong spot? Being forced into NT8, NT7 indicators as far as I know arent going to work

there're 2 websites:

home - Lizard Trader (professionals use leading indicators) this is the old website for nt7 (ana indicators) with free membership

home - LizardIndicators this is the new site for nt8 (ama indicators). membership is a one time payment of $150. unlimited access to over 100 indicators

also in addition, there're premium indicators for both, nt7 and nt8.

You are correct in that you are wrong. Someplace around the entry is a choice for NT7 or NT 8. I downloaded the NT 7 indicators, switched over to 8 then went back and downloaded the updated versions.

To make sure there is no confusion Lizard Trader is for the premium indicators ($'s each) and they install with an LT prefix, where the Lizard Indicators are the all you can eat for the flat membership fee and do install as ANA indicators. It can be a touch confusing because Kris and Harry have put in links to make it easy to find the premium indicator from the regular web site.

Yes, Lizard Trader was what I was looking for!

I am a newbie in NT8 and coding too. I am trying to create a custom indicator using the amaEfficiencyRatio. I wanted to reference the output of this in one of my custom indicators. Can anyone please let me know how I reference this within my code. Any sample code will be appreciated. The condition that I am interested is :
If amaEfficiencyRatio > 30 then ....

I need guidance on how to declare the indicator in the Declaration section too.

Thanks

interesting!! a new kind of renko bars (fully backtestable, no fake bars)

https://www.lizardindicators.com/premiumindicators/renkobar/

description:

Quoting

The LizardRenko has dynamic parameters for determining trending vs. reversal bars. A standard 1:2 Renko bar is available as D-Renko, whereas T-Renko and Q-Renkos deliver 1:3 and 1:4 ratios respectively. All our Renko bars are based on true price action, have genuine timestamps and are fully backtestable in all modes and settings. Finally, our Renko bars do not produce “fake bars” with zero volume and can therefore be synchronized with multiple bar series scripts.

LT_Renko_Tools:

Market Liquidity: Detects low liquidity scenarios where thin market conditions cause one or several order book levels to be skipped.

The situation occurs when there is a gap of more than 1 tick between the closing of a renko bar and the opening price of the next renko bar, or when a renko bar closes above the projected high or below the projected low, thus skipping one of those levels. Such Illiquid market situations may be displayed via paintbars and signalled via sound alerts. The Renko Tool comes with a public property “MarketLiquidity “which can be accessed via an indicator or strategy.

Projected Renko High/Low: The Renko Tool can be used to reduce slippage as it calculates the projected high and low for the next renko bar. These levels can be used to enter stop orders before the new renko bar has actually closed.

Sound alerts may be activated and triggered when one of the projection levels is reached thus closing the current renko bar. Two public properties “ProjectedHigh” and “ProjectedLow“ can be accessed through an indicator or strategy.

Chris, Harry's business partner did a presentation video on the new Renko bars for shark week (this week) I signed up so I would get the re-play link. Guessing Chris will put it up at the web site.

Here's the webinar, I purchased the lizrd renkos this morning, just setting them up today. I'm a big fan, use the Opening range, pivots, and VWAP premium indicators for NT8.
