I considered using products from this vendor in the past. However, whenever a vendor refuses to provide a 'test drive' of ones products, I always consider this to be a red flag. MBOX, as far as I am aware, does not provide free trials, not even for a small fee. So, even if some of his demos seems profitable and/or doable, I have not purchased this system. FWIW, I have never purchased a new car without taking said vehicle for a test drive. Would you?

Just my 2 cents.

One thing you have to remember is MBox Mike is not a big company. He always keeps saying he is a "one man shop" and has stated to everyone before that he has no time to support lookie loos. However, the support he provides to actual customers is first class. I would rather Mike focus on improving the MBoxWave system and making videos that we all can learn from rather than trying to convince people to buy his software. Of course I am a customer and am biased and prefer this for my own gain. Selfish I know, but I admit it. I think it also keeps the MBoxWave community clean. I wouldn't want guests to be in the Discord room either, since they are not committed yet to trade the MBox way. That being said, you as a potential customer can spend your money where you see fit. You don't have to buy MBox, but you should understand why Mike has this position about no trials. He even told everyone before a lot of people try to burn you with the free trial, people that don't have any intention of buying, or just wanting to rip off the software and the ideas from it. So before you judge, consider the other side. Do hotel's give trial test drives? Yet I'm sure you go on vacation sometimes?

The general approach taken by software companies these days is to offer trials. Whether the company is a one man band or a large enterprise company, pretty much every company does it. Some companies offer a free unregistrered trial whereas others take a more detailed approach in getting details etc. Yet others want to speak to you to get an idea if you are interested etc....

We all know the trading software industry is so full of scams and shills who are paid to promote the software. I am not at all saying that this is what's happening here or that Mike is anything like that. If anything, I would like to say that I have been interested in MBOXX for sometime but I would never buy software without trial as you just don't know if 1) it works 2) works the way you want it to. I've spent far too much already to justify splashing on every software left right and centre.

The whole point of doing a trial is to see see if the sw fulfils your objectives in terms of trading and usability. For example, people have complained on this thread that MBOXX is causing their trading charts to lag. Why would I fork out money on software and then find it doesn't work on my computer?

In answer to your question - yes hotels do give test drives. You can go to a hotel, look at the room, the bed and facilities in the room you want to stay in. You can sit on the bed and see if it's comfortable, make sure all the equipment is working etc....

These days, it is possible to buy software which encrypts the Ninjatrader 3rd party binaries so software vendors have no excuse not to offer trials.

I was going to say almost the exact same thing. In fact, I wish I had spent the money on MBOXX when I was getting started instead of what I did buy. If they had had a trial, I'd probably be an owner right now, for better or worse.

I also wanted to second a post that @iq200 made a couple days ago - if anyone has the time or the inclination to share screenshots of the new features, I'd be legitimately interested with seeing them and how they use the software to read the market.

Mike has posted a video on his youtube channel which shows some screenshots of the new indicators if that helps...

My posting intention was to see some additional charts to see if there is something better in MBOXX than before.

Completely agree with you on buying MBOXX. I would have bought it years ago for sure and I think it would definitely have been one of the better products that I would not have regretted buying. Now that I have more trading insight on what to look for, I just need to make sure it fulfils my checklist before I decide to spend more money.

Thanks for the pic @zextra. Do you know anyone who trades equities and uses Mboxx? I’d be interested to look at some equities.

Any one thinking of buying this crap beware. I purchased the grandfather package in 2019 for $1300 plus. After a dispute with the dude about not being able to access the new training room after logging out he has taken access away from me. So the end result is I paid $1300 to him and I have nothing. I'm unable to register my mbox license to my NT machine Id. He has taken that registration off me. He has blocked the link for the setup page as well. I have no way of getting my money back.

Not sure what to do now, the indicators were rubbish anyway, I was only using it for the Weiss wave. However even though it was rubbish I still paid the dude $1300 for a product that I'm entitled to. So the end result is I gave him $1300 for him to trade with and I get nothing out of it. Crazy way for a vendor to behave. So anyone thinking of buying from this vendor think again, he has complete control over you, if he doesn't agree with you then he will take your license away from you without notification or refund.

Mbox wave provides significant useful information into the order flow of the market. When the market is actually moving with size, the entries tend to be rather obvious. If you can have enough discipline to sit back and watch the majority of players get cut up, a lot of times a very lucrative entry will present itself. Subtle exit signals usually will let you know when the move is weakening such as higher high with much less delta or volume. The swing drawings from the mgannswing indicator are a great way to simplify the movement of the market.

Looks like a spam comment / post or from a competitor trying to start lies. This "overly negative" review should be deleted since the numerous "overly positive" reviews were deleted. In any case I doubt this is true. Mike has been more than fair and honest.
