I also use Kinetick as an equity data feed vendor for Ninjatrader. I believe barchart.com also do an equity data feed for Ninjatrader.

In the MBox group (which is in the Telegram app), a few people do use MBox on TS but there are issues with it. I think NT8 is the best choice for MBox. Actually some prefer Sierra Chart too.

I have both the NinjaTrader and TradeStation (for stock trading) versions of MBoxWave. Yes, you can trade stocks with NinjaTrader, but I prefer trading stocks in TradeStation.

Indicator wise, there are no issues with MBoxWave on TradeStation. The difference is in that the TradeStation data provides delta via Up / Down Ticks instead of Bid / Ask Volume like in NinjaTrader or Sierra Chart. I have asked Mike about it, and he said that you need to read the story of the chart, as that is what is most important. So, that is what I do, and the results for me are good. Reading the story of the chart I can find strong trades in both scenarios. I have seen times where Up / Down Ticks shows a better setup and other times where Bid / Ask Volume shows a better setup. It evens out in the end.

My experience with the software is positive + negative. I have found it helpful to my way of trading, but I'm not here to promo the vendor.

What has happened to me recently (after a Win10 and NT8 upgrade) is that the latest Mbox version slows Ninjatrader to a crawl. This is newish. Sierra might well be a different situ...I only use NT8. NT8 tends to freeze many times a day and I've tracked it down to 2 indies within the MBOX pack. Mike from MBOX provided a quick response to my queries: Only have Mboxcharts up on my PC at any one time and delete all workspaces, due to the limitations of NT8. Apparently this is only an issue with NT8.....(my assumption).

Seperate to this I suspect that I'd need to upgrade my PC to a very fast chip. No other indies in my PC are giving me grief.....so that is unacceptable to me and I've had to stop using it. With a previous NT8 platform version and previous Win10 version, Mbox ran without issues...smooth and fast. I've done - and keep doing - the ususal maintenance on NT8, gleaned from the FIO contributions over a few years on how to keep NT8 running smoothly. So if the product is of interest, I'd probably steer clear of using it on NT8 Its a shame, as I like some of the info it provides, to my way of interpreting data. I could try it on Sierra or MT4, but don't have the inclinations to change platforms.

I like using MBox but it would help me even more if it worked with NT Strategy Builder, works great with Market Analyzer but I need more refined automation.
I'm assuming his developer is putting off access for Strategy Builder so he can keep making money coding strategies for folks?

As far as I know, Mike does not have a "developer".

Mike is the sole developer and creator of the system. If you watch the webinars he did, he says he is the only one in the company.

He is not trying to make extra money coding strategies because he doesn't provide extra coding services to make extra money. I have asked about this before. While Mike programmed and coded the whole system, he doesn't take on coding jobs. Other people in the room have also confirmed this.

For all coding you have to get your own programmer or do it using the provided API Guide. After some time with the API Guide, I was able to code a few strategies myself without an additional programmer or paying any extra money. And I cannot say any bad things because Mike also helped me with the API Guide, when I didn't understand some things.

Tradarr, In regards to your comment, I'm not sure why you quoted me....I prefer not to comment on your Q. Thanks for understanding.

Ok so would you like to have MBox access in Strategy Builder ? Attached is a screen of a email discussion from last year asking for a simple value plot option to be added for Strategy Builder, you can see the plots in SB but a value plot option is not there and hasn't been added yet, I sent a pic comparing MB to PAS which has the value plot and still no update a year later?

You showed a pic in which I can see all the plots are exposed like Wave Total Volume and Wave Delta Volume, etc... Just take for example Wave Delta Volume, then choose equals, or lower than, or greater than, and pick your condition. I dealt with these plots since I used the API Guide. Since the plots are exposed, you just need to access them.

He doesn't have the option to select any plot , there has to be a "value plot" selection in addition to the plots , all indicators that provide plot selection in Strategy Builder have the value plot option, I will email him again asking for the value plot to be added. If you compare the pics I attached you will see what he needs to add.

MBOXX intrabar gives a hint as to what is happening. Though SIGNALS that print end of bar will often disappear due to something w/'swings' & such. I mostly use default settings or w/trend settings but still from time to time play around w/the settings.

I've had it for 2 years now - sometimes I'll look at it on longer timeframes 5min/15min - but for me it was an impulse buy back in the day. I've used it for managing stops & a bit of 'exhaustion' heads up as well.

It's a 'tool' like any other indicator.
