Yes I have tried them all and more , lol

This one looks very different then what I have seen
It has the stop . Entry. Targets . And the fib calculations fit the way I draw them now
free is good but $200 won't kill me either , I have spent a lot more on worse

if it's exactly what you need then buy it, what is there to lose but a measly $200? My advice is to stop looking for indicators because they wont make you profitable, but that is exactly the same advice I didn't follow for a VERY long time before I "figured it out".

Let us know if you do end up trying it out. While I'm skeptical, it does look somewhat enticing. Hopefully, it does not come with the distracting music in the video, though

Hey guys,

I saw this free indicator a while back and it looks similar to what is being looked at here.
Here is a link to a free Fib supertrend indicator; SuperTrend Indicator Based on Fibonacci - FreeIndicators.com

sure thing srgtroy , i was skepticalat first but its just a indicator that draws the fibs for me ,there is no gaurentees it will make any money for me , so if it does what it says its golden for $200 , ill let you know in a few days how she looks

I don't know if one can get this somewhere for free, but - especially in regards to the price - I'll give it a shot as well.
This could be a good addition to my existing 'trading arsenal'.

BTW, I like the music in the videos...

I hate to be a negative nancy, but don't get too excited just yet. Forward test this bad boy on several markets for a couple of weeks before you risk real money.

Also, don't be too concerned with dollar amounts. When you stop trying to be correct and worry about risk management you'll start to see the money roll in.

keep us updated on your progress!

ok so i took a few days to try this out and today all i can say is i wish i wasent in sim , I mostly trade ZB and Es and ES was little shacky today so i just focused on ZB and this is what i did , took entry off the green and sold one at top and then trailed 2nd with green trailer , sweet!!! $1375 , lol still lot to learn but i do like what i see so far

lol that is sweet! Keep us posted! Do you think it is just dynamically shifting the fib retracements or is it doing more then that?

It certainly does look like it is adjusting the retracements srgtroy and I agree it looks pretty cool.

I have a few questions for the owners of this indi;

Is the large green dotted line "0'?

How does it determine where or when it buys or sells?

Do you program it to take profits at certain retracements? Or is it set at where it takes profits?

It looks like the green dotted line is "0" and upon a second/third touch of "0", you buy/sell. Also looks like the red/green dots tell you when a retracement is hit to buy or sell depending on the trend of the instrument. Pretty cool!

Well, the method still looks quite enticing and I'd like to hear any comments and opinions on their latest video:

...So I'm really wondering if this was actually a live trade or just recorded in market replay...

BTW, the thicker green line represents the potential entry area to go long, the dotted red line below is the suggested stoploss area.

Considering how fast the guy in the video is manually drawing his other tools, I'm not sure why he even needs an autotrader

As for the audio track, good lord, Mr. AutoTradeNinja needs a Director of Audio Operations! This sound track makes me pine for Skrillex.

That said, indicator still looks intriguing.

Yep, exactly this made me a bit suspicious. I would be glad if an Autotrader would work that fast and precise.

Well, this time he used Mark Douglas for the 'music'...pretty difficult at least for me to follow the trade and all of the drawing going on while listening to an interview simultaneously.

For the next time I'd like to listen to some reggae again...

I think he should just play "Money For Nothing" by Dire Straits

Not a bad idea, so far he played Money by Pink Floyd several times.

That's more like it...Some good reggae (like Bob Marley) would be good...anything calming so you can focus on what the indicator is doing.

Ben's 4/28/14 video appears to sum up his trading strategy, I think. The caveat being that I only watched a few of his videos. Maybe someone who actually uses the software can chime in.

It looks like he enters at the 50% RT with a stop at the 78% RT and takes profit at several RT and extension levels. It looks like he uses trend channels to screen trades. It "appears" that he's trading live but it also appears that he has 3 accounts with the same broker. So he could technically be long one account while short the same time out of a different account. I am in no way accusing him of this but don't get all starry-eyed over what appears to be live trading.

I'm personally not a fan of fibonacci strategies but I always try to keep an open mind. When in doubt I always go with the rule "if it works so well then why is it only $199 (notice not $200)". I was once an internet marketer myself..hint..hint.

Exactly, I think your observations are correct.

Suggested profit targets are the golden, green, blue and red lines with the price markers on the y-axis (which disappear if the market just traded through these levels), depending on how many contracts you want to trade. The suggested stoploss is always the dotted red line as shown in my screenshots below.

Entries are quite easy to spot, but you really need to draw trend lines and channels all the time in order to come to 'correct' conclusions whether or not you should take a trade.

Well, and bottom line $199 won't let me go broke, so why not trying it out.
If it works it's great, and if not it's no big deal at all...

I don't believe in these simple systems for the reason that you need to take into consideration the context and by the time the context has been figured out you don't need these systems. However, you can learn something in testing these systems.

A very similar system (free) from Netpicks:

@benrock,

Please clarify your affiliation with this vendor. Are you in any way affiliated with them in any capacity? Were you asked to make posts about them? Are you receiving any kind of compensation for doing so?

I agree. We are quick to question folks giving strongly favorable reviews to vendors and yet folks giving very vague comments on why they don't like the vendor/product don't appear to fall under the same scrutiny. To me if you don't like a vendor or product, you should tell us why so we can benefit from your experience.

thats cool tiaulu , he was telling me about a guy from italy that bought it got a refund before he even was even licensed , lol prob different guy , lmao

people amaze me , they buy something for $199 and expect it to make them rich and then bitch about it if it dosent , lol i wouldnt care if it didnt make me a penny , if its something that helps me view the market better then its worth it ,

fibonacci is not for everyone , i use it to a point , but most of us know there is some use for it , and its nice to have something that says there is a level here dont buy and or sell in to it , with out drawing 200 fibs on my charts ,
(which i have to break that habbit still lol )

anyway , i saw that last post and felt bad since i started post and now someone giving was giving bad review ,

there will always be haters and un happy people , we have all spent thousands on trading garbage , but you have to admit that all it has done is teach you that the only one that can show you how to trade is yourself .

rant over , lol

I just picked up this indicator from autotraderninja

Being totally open, I knew the creator before he started selling this publicly and was in a live skype chat w/ him daily where he was using early versions of this for his own personal trading.

I think he decided to sell it because so many of us were asking him for it, but he spent a lot of his own money having it coded for his own personal use...so didn't want to give it away.

Anyway, I'm a little more familiar w/ this style of trading, but still getting used to having the actual indicator up on my screens. So far I love it, but then again I knew I would because I know what kind of trading can be accomplished with it.

Update:

Still impressed w/ the indicator although it does have a learning curve, and isn't really "ready" to use out of the box.

However, the creator has a list of some recommended settings to avoid chop, and these do help you get on the right track.

The one detractor to all of this, in my opinion, is a common place to interact with other users and discuss setups/settings/etc. The creator has a forum advertised on the website which is not functional, and I have recommended a chat room/skype chat, or even a private chat setup by myself (for free) for others to use. So far, I haven't gotten much traction, but hopefully they add some form of communication for users in the near future.

I spoke w/ one other user today after some internet investigation to find another user I could contact, and just one exchange with one other user was very helpful.

Hello @1zach4
What indicator is it you speak of? Sorry if off-topic, just confused easily
charts(pics speak) words are obsolete. No intent of rudeness just simple and direct.
Thanks

Hello @1zach4
What indicator is it you speak of? Sorry if off-topic, just confused easily
charts(pics speak) words are obsolete. No intent of rudeness just simple and direct.
Thanks

The fib indicator that pictures have been posted of a few times in here already

I already posted some charts here:

are you talking to me?

This thread is about autotraderninja.com and they sell a fib indicator...didn't think I needed to clarify after so many charts had already been posted.

Here is a CL chart from today

Update:

Had some technical issues, but they appear to have been isolated to one single chart. Ben and his partner tried to help, but none of us understood why we could duplicate one thing on their end but not on mine, so it got a little tense.

Either way, the issue is resolved, indicator working as it should. Although I still recommend a chat room for users.

I watched a ton of the vids today. Definitely not promising a silver bullet which is fantastic. Of course the vids are sped up but that guy is like a duck in water drawing trend lines.

Definitely not a rookie tool but it sure looks like a fantastic tool if you use fibs a lot and would be plotting those points anyways.

Anyone bought it and had any results positive or negative (well taken it out of sim trading to the real thing)?

I have this system, it's pretty decent, does come with automation for a monthly fee.

The lines look to be similar to the 4 and 9 tenkensan and kijun so I guess you could almost call it as successful as an ichimoku based system can be.

If you overlay ichimoku on it and filter out some of the crossings (they're doing TK crosses and jumps off the 50 and 200) then you can do good with it. Just like ichimoku it has an eerie way of calling targets, it's really actually stunning. I personally use the proplus version that allows you to use ATR stops and targets vs the standard ones.

Definitely not a holy grail system but really not bad.

I don't believe in these simple systems for the reason that you need to take into consideration the context and by the time the context has been figured out you don't need these systems. However, you can learn something in testing these systems.

A very similar system (free) from Netpicks:

@benrock,

Please clarify your affiliation with this vendor. Are you in any way affiliated with them in any capacity? Were you asked to make posts about them? Are you receiving any kind of compensation for doing so?

Mike

Hi BM and Community,

Just want to warn anyone who are going to deal with that crooks(autoninjatrader).Stay away from autoninjatrader! Not only you should go,you should run!

I`ve bought this mess wich was composed from the free indicator you can find on the BigMike forum and the this crook(Benjamin Baird) claims that i`m stealing products.Never stole anything and never will!I have good relationships with many online vendors who can confirm that i`m honest and straightforward. This is my first request for refund even though i`ve ordered products with another vendors via PayPall for thousands.Normally,i`d skip the issue, but i decided forrefund after reviewing this thread, when i realised what a crook Benjamin Braids was, starting his venture with LIES!!!

Here is our Paypal conversation with the autoninjatrader frauds:

13.07.2014 04:42:27 GMT-07:00 - Vendor:he purchased the indicator less then 24 hrs ago and hasent had anytime to use it or learn how to use it , he has made claims that the autotrader system is unviable but how would he know as markets are closed on the weekends , also he paid for the indicator and recieved the autotrader for free and the complaint is about the autotrader . he asked me 3 questions that were totally unrelated to the product , so its clear he is confused about it . we state very clear on our site that it takes 30 days to learn the product and there are no refunds . his name also matches on a website that steals products like mine and resells them in russia

13.07.2014 02:59:21 GMT-07:00 - Customer: Unviable product with mixed up features.I`d love to help you with that one,but simply don`t have time. You have a long way to go with the product.Good Luck!

I don`t re-sell anything either.I`m a trader. So the crook is liar. That garbage sells the metal scrap, composed from the other peoples works. So you`d better stay away from them.He lies to PayPal,he`s lied to BM.My questions to him about the product were absolutely to the point,he was just unable to answer them.

Hi BM and Community,

What is your current location? Your profile says Alaska, but this seems to be false.

You registered with a Russian address. I have no love lost for this vendor, which is banned on futures.io (formerly BMT) for his actions, but I also still enforce futures.io (formerly BMT) site policy which is to be truthful with your location and to not use any service to hide your identity.

I can also confirm, that the only 3 places i`m currently registred are the BM forum,NT support forum and TradersLaboratory forum. What sites this crook is talking about i have no idea. And how can i steal anything from the site??That explains a lot!I was simply mad about this two words, hence my intention to post in this thread:

"his name also matches on a website that steals products like mine and resells them in russia"

Like i said ,normally, i`d skip this 200$,but not at this time!

I think enough been said.
