Any feedback on Rob Booker and Jennifer trading room
I first came across Rob about 9 years ago when I considered myself to be a Forex newbie. He claimed to be pretty good at Forex, so I signed up for a one-on-one mentorship program. It was okay for that time, pretty basic, but quite expensive for what I received. I think Rob put some good ideas into his program, but it turned out to be common sense things you learn on your own - especially if you compare some of the good trading logs right here on Big Mike's.
Overall he's a nice guy, but more of an entertainer in my opinion. He's bound to get a good laugh out of you.
^^^ This is a great way to explain Rob. Or - he's a great marketer.
I was in the room while they were promoting the hopper trade and I think there was some great info there but they have since moved on to a new strategy (for the most part). Rob is great at marketing and always has the next, greatest thing for traders but I have to wonder why the constant jumping around of strategies if you're making $...
IMO the brains of that operation is Jen but she has unfortunately partnered with a guy that is more interested in marketing and selling subscriptions/webinars.
Ah yes, "the next greatest thing". This is often a tell tale sign that not too much money is being made by those in the program. I know, because I've been there too. The old saying of: Those that know won't say, and those that don't teach applies to many of the trading vendors unfortunately.
Very true, he entertains and he is good at keeping you in a positive mood. Once in a while I listen to his presentations.
Great marketing lessons, even the appearance of Jennifer is a well planned marketing stunt. How else can you sell
a moving average cross over "trading system" calling it pure hopper and package it in a modified MACD
