So I purchased this product...do not buy! The file they gave to download doesn't work the way the instructions say, actually the file was "empty". So, I sent emails to the vendor, several. This was about a week a go and to date, no response.

So, I'm going to have my credit card challenge the vendor.

In my opinion if you don't have the self discipline to stop trading by yourself, and instead need a tool to stop for you then you are a gambler and not a trader, and will never make it as a trader. Honestly, how can anyone think they will make it as a trader if they don't have the self control to stop by themselves after X losses.

If the tool stops you trading after X losses what is stopping you from:
- Switching off the tool and placing more trades
- Opening up another trading platform and placing more trades
- Opening up your brokers web interface and placing more trades
- Placing more trades with another broker
- etc..

There is no such thing as a successful trader who doesn't have self discipline in my opinion.

It would help. Also, dont necessarily need it for myself.

What is stopping you (or whoever else it is for) from simply turning off the tool when they decide they don't want to stop trading?

Nothing. Can still do it.
but losses are booked once. you come out of the trade.
it helps

Maybe you dont need it . some people do.
but what i want is auto monitor risk for lets say 5 people.
if one/any of them hits their stop loss for the day. the positions gets booked.
Would also improve my own trading

DO NOT BUY THIS "TOOL"

I bought it less than a month ago and it's the worst purchase ever.

I opened the settings menu while I had a long position of 2 MNQ contracts. Without doing anything (still in the settings menu of the indicator) this addon closed my position, opened a positions in the opposite direction, closed that position, opened another position in the opposite direction etc etc. Within a less than 10 seconds it sold and bought > 200 contracts.

I have contacted the supplier and his reaction is that I shouldn't open the settings menu in a live account.
He is also kind of denying that Guardian Angel Trader is responsible for the buying and selling orders. Ninjatraders support desk is very clear about this:
The log and trace files showed "that the 'Flatten everything' command was used several dozen times in just a few seconds, causing numerous in-flight executions to occur. I suspect this may have been caused by a malfunctioning third-party addon. Typically the only way to invoke this command would be to right-click within the Positions tab and select 'Flatten everything', and it would not be possible to do this manually with the speed shown in your logs. Below are some screenshots showing what happened:

To give you a better understanding of why using 'Flatten everything' would cause unwanted positions in this way, please refer to the following link covering in-flight executions:

https://ninjatrader.com/support/helpGuides/nt8/index.html?risks_of_electronic_trading_wi.htm "

I asked to terminate the purchase because I don't want an addon that I can not trust. He is not willing to do this. He is also denying what happened and there were in this 1 month 6 new versions of the addon due to bug fixes, so it is very dangerous and expensive to use this. In fact this indicator will cost you money when using it.
