Hi - there's no replay or SIM trading in RapidTrader right now.

Hi,

Ok, but will at least RapidTrader show past days Auction Vista activity (static, the same as one would see past price action static in a standar price chart).

Thanks.

I know Vista currently allows you to record the chart data when the platform is open which is very useful if for some reason one needs to restart the trading platform, as all the days Vista data isn't gone when the platform reopens.
Are you saying that in the future Vista will automatically load the complete past few days of tick data and plot it whether the platform had been open and recording it or not?

It can only load what it recorded right now, we are actually re-engineering that side of Vista right now and when it gets to RTP, we have to decide if we still want it attached to D&S or not - there are pros & cons both side.

But one of the things we are re-engineering is to put all the recording stuff on one side so it can be independent. That does mean we'll also have the ability to download historical ticks

What we can't do is get historical depth - because no-one I know supplies it.

I think SC supports historical depth, if I understood their documentation correctly:

Hi, Pete

I am a Jigsaw customer, DOM jockey

Is there a chance you could go over more drills?

It would be great to have ways to improve.

I heard of one, where multiple limit orders are put in the DOM and then manage them?

not sure though?

thanks

Hinneni

ps Love the Blog!

Hi Peter, @DionysusToast

I just copied my question here as it seems more relevant to this thread hope you could help me with my concerns

Hay mate, very nice to be here.
I have a question for you about Jigsaw as I am thinking about start using it but I have 1 concern about it and you might help as you familiar with it. Im trading exclusively stocks and a lot of times stocks without a lot of liquidity, I saw it happening on my IB BookTrader, there is huge gaps between each price because of the low liquidity, and it make it almost impossible to trade only depend on the DOM , the DOM jumping up and down between prices. I basically can see the offer @ 5.00 and next offer is @ 5.30. (30 tickes between offers) so there is no way to see those offers at one time, I wonder if Jigsaw have some solution for it? or there is none because it's basically build for futures where there is a lot of liquidity and this is not an issue there.
Hope to hear your thoughts or suggestions.

Thank you! Have a nice Weekend! (:
