I am also wondering if anyone has any experience with EZ Pro Trading.

On March 6th I watched their 17 minute webinar - and they claimed only one loss out of 277 (ES) trades in the past 6 months.

Twelve month performance: 9 losses in 553 trades. (I guess they only trade the ES).

Anybody here first-hand knowledgeable, good or bad, about EZ Pro?

Thanks, Dennis

Seriously!

I suggest you call this person directly; he is in Tampa.

I did last spring. I also called his autotrading brokerage (his website has branched off and changed).

I signed up with Mark last week.

I would say that the results on his website are true, but the commissions are not included.
The results on the website says for 4 contracts and that would be true about 75% of the time.
If you trade the method according to the rules about 5% of the time you will have about 24 contracts on the trade at one time. So if you are a one contract trader you will need to have the capacity to be able to trade 6 contracts for this method according to the rules.
Mark also has 2 other trades that he teaches that you can trade just one contract with no add-ons.
There is also life time access to his room where you can see him trade his live account on the protrade setup (showing his DOM)

If you want more information, give him a call.

Sounds like a martingale strategy. Those usually have very long winning streaks and then very large blowups.

Math. A gateway drug to reality.

Thanks to those who have responded.

I was hoping to hear from someone with extensive experience with the EZ Pro approach, but the comments here are informative.

I am intrigued that you may have as many as 24 contracts (4x6) on the trade in some cases. That must mean adding to the trade continually as it goes against your position.

Like I used to do trading Risk Arbitrage (mergers).

In his webinar, the EZ Pro guy said to add to the position after an 8 tick drawdown, ($100 in the ES - and with a -7 point "catastrophic" - $350/contract - stop loss) but never explained going beyond that and adding more contracts to a losing position.

Not to say the strategy isn't workable, but it seems the drawdown would get a lot bigger, unless I'm not understanding something about when and why those additional contracts are added.

Dennis

enter 4 contracts for 7 point loss 7*50*4=1400
enter 4 contracts for 5 point loss 5*50*4=1000
enter 4 contracts for 3 point loss 3*50*4=600
enter 4 contracts for 1 point loss 1*50*4=200

total contracts = 16 total losses =3200

total win per 1.5 point trade = 300 with 4 contracts

Wins needed to overcome 1 loss would be 11

At 5000.00 per contract in the account you would need 80,000

A loss would be 4% of your account

Dont know if thats how he trades, but it was fun to work out anyway... eh?

Hi,

Take a note the last loss: 12/16 - $4,600 using 4 contracts
It means 4600 / 4 = $1150 per contract = 23 poinst per contract = 92 ticks per contract

Look, how a PROFESSIONAL TRADE allow reach this loss? 92 ticks per contract???? Are they crazy?
That's ridiculous

$4600 loss using for contracts in just one single trade?
What kind of professional is that?

Try to ask them by email. See their answer.

Wish you luck!

If you know a good live room, let me know!

As of December 2011 this vendor was involved with a different strategy (theticktradingroom under another thread), so it is clear that his results are based on backtest and probably only recently started trading it live.

I don't have personal experience with these guys, but my brother-in-law was telling me about his experience with them.

Basically what they do is change the strategy whenever they have a loss, issue a new 'manual', then the loss magically disappears from the posted performance. They keep 1 or 2 losses in there just so it's somewhat believable. In the meantime, current members are taking real losses.

I guess they recently added the Protrade II. Well, after two big losses in row, they just stopped trading it. Probably pulled it from the website and will introduce Protrade III next week.

Email me if you're seriously considering sending these guys your money. I'm sure I could get my brother-in-law to send you the actual performance.

You can start with one contract on the first position, then add 1 contract (up to three more add-ons) if initial trade goes into drawdown. Then your results for gain and loss will be one-fourth of what is published.

Yeah i purchased the course and its not what iam looking for. Their results are probably accurate because they double down so much they will likely turn most losers into a winner. Their $350 cash stop is per contract so if the trade goes completely against you and doesn't retrace, you will be adding multiple contracts and if it doesnt retrace back to their adjusted profit number you can get blown out. 1 contract trader has to be able to trade up to 6 contracts if it goes wrong and potentially can lose $4600. An occurance they claim can happen 10 times a year. Their daily profit range is around $200 a day and i think they hit that most of the time but the risk is way to much imo.

CFTC's definition of Fraud

"Cheating or attempting to cheat you through false claims about the likelihood of
profit or loss from trading
; false or misleading statements about trading..." (my underline)

If you agree with my detailed analysis of Ezprotrading's practice of posting bogus results, please take a minute to send them a message ezprotrading@gmail.com or (941) 405-7303, saying that you've seen the screen prints of MOO's published results on Ezprotrating website, that the attempt to cover up is a clear indication of fraud. Tell Ezprotrading that they I have not earned the right to keep my money under this clear evidence of fraud.

1. I took screen prints of charts for the week of May 7-11, which had its worst week, yet Ezprotrading recorded a profit: Free Cloud Storage - MediaFire

2. I spent the weekend backtesting the MOO strategy and comparing results with Ezprotrading website. The differences were not subtle. They were night and day apart. So I prepared a report of my findings and emailed it, asking for a refund. See the report for hypothetical trades from April 30 - June 1 (five weeks): Ezeprotrading_MOO_Apr30-Jun1_2012_Results.pdf

3. I backtested the MOO strategy rules on TradeStation for over six years of data: MOO_2005-2012_TradeStation-backtest.pdf. Though it had some months of profit, overall net result is a far cry from Ezprotrading claims.

4. Finally, the cherry landed on my cake and created "the perfect storm." Ezprotrading revised the results for two weeks of May 7 and 14: Ezprotrading_MOO_May7-11_REVISED.jpg. The rosy results disappeared. But it is not just these two weeks that are off, the majority of the results are hypothetically fraudulent. Even though Ezprotrading's action is an acknowledgment that I am right, it has not returned my money, which it has not earned the right to keep. Instead, it threatened me with "legal remedies" if I brought this information public. Well, here in the court of public opinion let's see who is entitled to remedies.

5. Here is a complete list of our email correspondence in chronological order: Free Cloud Storage - MediaFire

98% win rate caught my eye so I took a look at their published results:

I don't understand, they say only 8 trades lost, yet there are at least 9 losing weeks, and they are trading 4 contracts so it seems mathematically impossible.

Can someone clue me in to what I am missing?

Also, just saw this...

Thanks. I saw that too. Are they still doubling down all the time? They could include the doubling-down in the 581 trades, and the massive losses as the 8 fallouts where doubling-down failed which seems to account for the "9 losing weeks"?

There's no free trial for the trading room. "EZprotrading" sounds similar to "EZcolortrading" or vversa
How's the manual? Does it say to double down?

I am sending my findings to the CFTC right now. Maybe nothing comes out of this, but this vendor should not be able to continue hiding behind a disclaimer. Disclaimers are not valid for outright cheating, intentional misrepresentation of trading performance.

Sometime after my CFTC complaint, EZprotrading got busted. Now Mark Katzenberger changed the name to Superscalptrading.com and is doing a NinjaTrader sponsored webinar today. I have tried hard to recover my $597 "thrown at" EZprotrading.com, but no success. It is unfathomable that this vendor won't refund my money despite my well-grounded case of vendor misrepresentation. Anyway, he would rather risk bad publicity (and already had to change website name than) than refund my money.

So here are the old and the new website screenprints for you to compare the EXACT match.

EZpro: https://www.mediafire.com/error.php?errno=320

SuperScalp: https://www.mediafire.com/error.php?errno=320

Also I sent the following email today:

Mark,

You have changed website; now change your character by refunding my $597. Paypal: xxxxxxx@yahoo.com

EZprotrading busted is an admission and proof that you are not entitled to keep my money forever. I hope you're not stupid enough to keep hanging on to my money.

Do you see the deception? I have also contacted Ryan from NinjaTrader Partners from the beginning. Yet, it is business as usual. Someday there could be a class action lawsuit and my guess is that NT "Partners" will likely be summoned for providing shady characters with the tools to conduct thievery.

Hey joaobucks,
I was watching the webinar today. It was mutiny/class action of participants! He was done in ~30 minutes.
I believe NT should never allow questionable partners to run any webinar until eg. any case is cleared with CFTC.

I know business is business but what else can we do to get rid off NT "partners" and their offers?

Cheers,

Hello Fellow Traders,
I am very reluctant to post on message boards, but became an Elite member here after reviewing some of the previous threads on Vendors and realized I could have saved several thousands of dollars if I was able to read some of the reviews BEFORE buying some products, right here on futures.io (formerly BMT).
I was reviewing some websites, and got interested in Superscalptrading.com . After sending a request and some questions, I got a response back that everything that I was looking for was at a sister site called trendtradingpartner.com.
Before sinking more of my future credit card payments into something that may not pan out, I reviewed the futures.io (formerly BMT) site and found that EZProtrading had become Superscalptrading...and now, it looks like the new incarnation is trendtradingpartner.com ??? The past screen shot of EZProtrading has the same contact phone number as trendtradingpartner.com...and it seems to be run by the same guy...Mark (or Marc) Cohen.
Look, if this is all legit, I've got no problem paying triple the amount for basically a cash register at my computer terminal. But before I even get involved with a Free Trial, I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on what I've come across?
Thanks...and remember, this is my first time, so please go easy with me!
