This is the right thread to discuss "Trading Concepts" website, products, services, etc.
I've started posting the "XYZ" thread simply because there are so many unending vendor threads, and so many people always wanting to buy something to solve problems... they end up just becoming experts at what to buy instead of how to trade (if they are lucky).
Rather than me trying to come up with a complete review trying to cover all the bases, do you have any specific questions? Do you have any goals in particular, and wondering how this service might align with those goals?
I guess i am looking for an overall review. What do you think of the education taught and do you think the setups and strategies work enough to give you an advantage.
Well..... I may have a different perspective than most. IMO, ANY system can work given the right person trading it. This system was actually the first I ever purchased for day trading, and I have come back to it several times over my trials with trading.
But let's cut to the chase, when we are talking about discretionary means of trading, "the system" really has little to do with profitability. And that is what this is, it is a discretionary system. So I kinda think vendors are a bit weird when they really think/claim their discretionary "system" will turn someone's trading around. As in the end, if someone does turn profitable, 'the system' has nothing to do with it. After all the user has to figure out which signals are valid, which signals to take, so the trader himself is actually doing all the work, not 'the system.'
With all that said, the day trading system you are referring to, is about finding a trend via HHs/LLs, and finding a pullback within that trend, with the use of fibs and other things. There are also some CT type setups as well.
I would say, the general framework of 'the system' is somewhat useful. It does provide a 'general' structure through which to view the day's movement.
But if you ask me if it is worth paying the asking price for..... I would say absolutely not! I say this b/c there is nothing in his material that you can't find a similar analog for on any trading website/forum, futures.io (formerly BMT) included. There is nothing ground breaking, or anything the average person trading for some time has not seen or heard before.
So if you ask me if there is anything in his work that will give you an advantage by itself, I would say no. If you ask me if there is anything of value in his work, I would say sure there is. Is it worth that money given what is readily available on many websites and forums for free, NO, IMO it is not.

i bought the course 2 years ago.it is a total waste of time and money. i bought it beacuse it had a two week test peroid. it will take you 3 to 6 months to figure out it is junk. this is one of the courses that is sold by someone that does not trade. he has a new course or trading room every month. if you are going to buy educational materal stick to order-flow and volume and market profile. it is not easy and you can run into bad educators there to,but over time you stand a better chance.forgiven

put up a 3 min, bar chart. add the 89 sma and 79ema..then add the keltner bands...when the center line or moving average of the keltner brakes both 89 an 79 moving averages you are now in a trend. take the first pull back to the lower or upper 25% of the band depending on direction. 3 point stop..take 50% of at the center line..the rest at the band.. that is about it .... you are paying 2500 for that, there are a few other things that are worth as much as the above...do not waste your time...forget about the 2 week trail..he will even have other traders calling you in that 2 weeks ..telling you they found the grail hang in there.. this is it...Tod does not trade...he sells one b.s. thing after the other...he has stealing in his hart
"For those unaware, Trading Concepts is a long, long, very long time hustler of all things day-trading related. The owner of the company Todd Mitchell has been selling magical trading indicators, in various derivations, for well over 20 years."
Yup. I have a video tape (yes... TAPE!) of his where he still had hair and was scribbling price patterns in Sharpie on an easel. I'm sure there's something of value in it, but 90% of what you are paying for is someone to hold your hand through the learning process.
