I went to the webinar yesterday. Much of it is the old familiar Woodie's CCI with some new fancy colors and b/g coloring.
The "WoodiesBars" according to him were orignally done by rjay. He has had somebody at Microtrends further develop them "according to his specs".
He seems very paranoid about someone stealing his idea. You have to be in the room ($99.95/month) to see the system. If you want the software, the lease is $199.95/month, but you also have to continue to pay the monthly room fee or you can't have the software.
If anybody joins the room, would be interested to hear your opinions. I know that some people think Woodie walks on water, some think he is the devil. I really don't care, I just want to know if he may have come up with a tradeable system.
Well, my curiosity got the best of me, and I bought a month in the room. It was amazing. It is kind of like dealing with the airlines. There is a constant push by the mods to use PFG for a broker. There is a guy who will teach you how to use the Woodie stuff for $60/hour. There is another lady who teaches head stuff for a fee and the mods are pushing people to her.
They are so secretive about their new charts and strategy that they are afraid to say anything helpful. When asked which one of the setups works best, "....Woodie won't let us say". When asked about stops and targets, "....you have to figure that out for yourself". When asked for some place to study and read about the new charts, "....Woodie will not allow any written material on his new stuff".
I give up. Don't they know that if you put this stuff out there in any form, it is no longer a secret? They only thing they accomplish is making it harder for the people who pay.
My advice, don't waste your time or money. Just my humble opinion.

I will put up a better renko chart to see how it compares. I did not lease the software, but they broadcast charts on 4 different symbols in the chat room, and I should be able to tell.

It does look like the Woodiesbars are BetterRenko. They are colored by the CCI patterns, so that is different, but the body and tails look just like Better Renko.
The settings they are using for CCI are NOT standard Woodie. If I thought it had merit, I suppose I could eventually figure that out. But, I am not interested in trying to steal their setup, just evaluate it.

You are correct Jeff, Woodie himself admitted they are Median Renko developed by Roonius and it seems OK to him to charge $300 per month for others' work.

Tiberius,
Three is newer version of this indicator for NT7 by Snaphook. Not sure if its here but you can certainly find it on Ninja forum. It works great, but then again even Woodie does not trade the WCCI anymore.

Yes, but what % do you think it will affect? That is great, and I hope it places high on the search engines!
I find as I do more business how little I actually understood as to what is true 'business' and what is just ripping someone off without telling them. Sorry for being a Negative-Nancy, but these people need to be put to rest....

Over the years ken wood and his doodle PFG Niel - his Broker - have hurt a lot of people.
Ken Wood is an ego-manic. All he does must be seen in this light.
(nontheless I met wonderful people & trader there - no thanks to woodie and most of them left already )
Little known fact, I know an instructor at Colorado Springs who told me the US Airforce has started using that template to screen jet fighter candidates, sound logic being if you can decipher that template then the instrument panel on a jet fighter will present no real challenge to you.

After the MedianRenko bars sold by Woodie as Woodie bars, here is the "new" Woodie Bars presented by Woodie in NT Webinar;
As you may notice the bar type and all indicators remarkably resemble those from futures.io (formerly BMT), even with the same fonts and colors, and are leased monthly for about $299 by Woodie and Tom from MicroTrends (Room and Template).
Bars - UniRenko Bars by @monpere from futures.io (formerly BMT)
BackGround trend - by @ThatManFromTexas from futures.io (formerly BMT)
Gradient Bars - Gradient Color Bars by @aligator from futures.io (formerly BMT)
I'm not convinced that when you pay $299 for the Room you receive a template or indicators or anything more than the Room. Woodie must have been asked a dozen+ times during the NT Webinar about the price of his indicators and he flat out refused to answer. Plus, the price of the indicators is no where on his website. Appears to be a case of "you can look but not touch."
ETA: Agreed that NT is doing a disservice by ponying up with marketeers who have nothing substantive to offer. Of the hundreds of Webinars NT has cashed in on I can't think of one that had genuine value, compared to, say, MarketDelta in which one always takes away something positive. Look closely at the credentials of some of those presenters. Not to overuse the word, they're "shameless" and that's the course NT is carving out for themselves by sponsoring these clowns.

You guys should be writing emails to NinjaTrader with as much factual information as possible to back up your claims, if you want them to take any action. I would put in subject line "Attention Ray" if it were me.
Woody has been banned on futures.io (formerly BMT) for a long time. If someone can provide usernames of any of his programmers or secondary accounts, please do so.

The template and woodie's indicator package are offered on MicroTrends website. Woodie mentioned that in the Webinar too. ($199 package lease + $99 room) per month.
MicroTrends is developing and marketing Woodie Bars and his indicator package. They have them on their web site for monthly lease.
Tom from MicroTrends provides direct support to Woodies room and apparently does most of the programing, but I have no idea about his or other Woodie's associates' user names on futures.io (formerly BMT) or if they are futures.io (formerly BMT) members.

MicroTrends was banned on futures.io (formerly BMT) a while back for piracy. I do suspect he or others have other usernames though and are accessing Elite content.

Here is a little statement by the man himself, you be the judge:
"thanks that man from texas, i have introduced new patterns but i'm not releasing to public as i found some renaming them and selling them and some just copyright infringement from my book. for better than 10 years i made all my things free including woodie pivots which many use as well. i'm just not doing that anymore. " - Woodie

I know that Woodie has been banned from futures.io (formerly BMT) but his partners at MicroTrends and his other elves are quite active.
I just happened to see "woodies cci club " in Ninjatrader's "ecosystem" in the email. Amazing, the new "woodiesbars"
for August, 2014! I guess woodies CCI has evolved?
I just saw Woodie's webinar on NT yesterday - I like what I saw as far as indicators and chart set-up and was wondering if any member of futures.io (formerly BMT) might have already put something similar together that I could take a look at rather than build it from scratch.
thanks

If you read the thread you will know the story, and why Woodie is banned on futures.io (formerly BMT). It's too bad @NinjaTrader allows him to remain a partner.
