Has anyone heard of Invest to Success or John Ondercin? www.investtoscuccess.com He has some pretty cool strategies, unfortunately his sidekick Dan is a jerk! I recently contacted John, come to find out Dan responds to all emails addressed to John. I said in makes me leery when John doesn't respond and his staff is always responding. He got mad at me like I'm supposed to know he's John's business partner and said he "enjoyed the colorful metaphor".

I ask him about the program and tell him, that's great but as he is well aware, 90% of trading is psychology, so how do I know tha this methods will work for me. He basically said good luck and that was it.

It doesn't end there...here's the worst of it, I thought what the heck I have 14 days to check it out so I signed up. I get a confirmation saying that I'm registered, bla, bla. This morning, I get a note from, guess who Dan, who says the class is full and not accepting any students. So I email him and asked is it because the class is really full or because of our previous email exchange - he does not respond.

So what's my take away....drum roll....SCAM!

Let me know your thoughts if you've been through the program, etc.

Thanks!

Yeah I went to a free presentation yesterday where John traded his live account in front of us providing commentary on what he was doing. Pretty impressive. Then I received an email several hours later asking me to reply if I would be interested in hearing more about his course as he would be accepting new students today (Thursday). I replied back last night that I was interested, but I received no response at all. I even followed up with a second email and still total silence. Very weird. Either they are having major email server issues or they have very poor customer service. It's a shame as John seems like a pretty decent trader who explains things well but his back office is sub-par.

EDIT: They finally responded late this afternoon and said they were very late in sending replies out as they were attaching a video.

Sorry about the lateness of this response, as I just recently became aware of it.

I'd like to respond to the original post from Ron Mathews (aka "BarOne"). Fortunately, I don't have to rely strictly on memory, as I have the full email trail of our conversation from back then.

Ron was interested in one of our courses, authored by my business partner, John Ondercin, and Ron and I corresponded back and forth via email several times.

After I had responded promptly (and completely professionally) multiple times to his questions, Ron complained that John himself was not responding instead of me.

Specifically, Ron's comments were:
"While I do appreciate that John is busy, this is probably the 5th email I've sent and not once has he responded. I'm always leery when the mentor/coach is not responding and its one of his staff. Can you expect to attract the best players into your NFL team if they were only dealing with the Assitant Coach? I would say no, and it doesn't matter how good the coach is because the coach has just shown the lack of dedication to his potential player."

Since I handled most of the customer service at that time, and there was nothing he had asked about that I couldn't answer, it just happened that I was the one responding to his questions.

I certainly was not angry -- what's to be angry about? I simply explained that I was not "staff", but instead was John's business partner, and complimented him on the fact that his "NFL coach" analogy was a "colorful metaphor" (because it was).

There was certainly no "lack of dedication" by John. If Ron had asked something that needed John's personal attention, John would have been happy to respond to him personally. He responds directly to potential students all the time when I can't answer a question.

In any case, we had a deadline for registrations, and Ron signed up after the deadline and after the class was full. I DID respond to him to let him know that the class was actually full. Whether that response accidentally went to his junk mail folder, or whether he just missed it, that's no reason to accuse us of being a "scam".

Far from it! We have a ton of testimonials from satisfied students on our site (Google "Invest To Success", then look at the footer for "Success Stories", since the policy on this forum is I can't list the URL), and plenty more that we haven't even posted yet.

At the end of the day, I just wanted to set the story straight for anyone who only saw Ron's side. I understand his skepticism about buying a course from someone he didn't know yet. That's a natural reaction. I just wish he hadn't felt the need to attack us unfairly like that.

Happy Trading,
Dan

I purchased John Ondercin's videos and joined his trade room for several months. I use his systems everyday and am profitable with them. He is a great teacher and a great guy!

If you rule him out for not answering his emails personally, I can very definitely say, you are losing out on a great experience.

John and his son Aled were hired on by a Hedge Fund and consequently they are not doing webinars any more. You can purchase their videos and systems at winvesting.com if you are interested. I purchased their videos and use their systems and I think they are great.
