I did the trial about a month ago, I liked the software, it came with some really good indicators. The problem was that for a Newbie to really understand the indicators and use them effectively, you really need more training with them than the videos on the website offered. They offer a chatroom, but it cost as much as the software does per month. On the whole, good indicators, not sure its worth the money.

I recommend that you study in pdf www_kwikpop_com/index-5.html as pointed Cory. You can also watch the video but it is more advertising.
Study of these pdf files make clear the main principles of the trading system. Many of the indicators of this system is useless, and often the same.
I have studied this system but it's not for me. But I note that there are "rational". The author very clearly outlined the main points of price movement, which is very useful in general purpose. It is recommended for beginners.

To study the need to necessarily use the free demo.

It's quite costly for the regular licence fee (not a one-time licence) though they offer new indicators all the time. When I was in the regular chatroom before the holiday break (not the daytrading room), they're going to release a new colored Support/Resistance indicator. To me, it's more confusing and maybe because I am still new to the system.

Considering the current market (choppy), not all KP signals have worked out and one might get trapped with a 1- to 2-point range. I'm still searching for a system that I feel comfortable to trade.

Happy & Successful Trading!

it's confusing because it's changed on daily basic, look at this picture the screens were 5 days apart and he already renamed his indicator from lowercase to uppercase.

You are right Cory! Smile ..

I agree with you 1,000,000,...% that "more" does not mean "quality". I just need enough to keep me focussed and comfortable to trade. Having said that, on-going enhancement/learning is important as the market changes often.

I am currently using a combo of KP, Chaos, d9, AYN, Sharky and The Wizard's new system (yes, I know quite a big troop) before finalizing a simple system that I will trade. Am quite happy with last week and today's sim trade results, ie $300 for last week (3 mornings) and $240 this morning. Certainly there's room for improvement and I am working on it.

Thanks all for the guidance. Happy & Successful Trading!

Beth

not that i am supporter of these guys or anything, but you are comparing a Ninja screenshot to Multicharts/Tradestation, which is unfair.
It is tough to implement indicators 100% identically across platforms.

Out of their many indicators, I am using three of the most accurate ones. KPebands, KPscorecardcolors, KPsnapback.

KPscorecarcolors - Panel 1 - colors the bars blue, red, yellow
KPebands - Panel 1 - Keeps you on the right side of the market
KPsnapback - Panel 2 - Very accurate indicator.. I use the zero crossovers for trade

Hi yroyal,

Which markets do you use to trade with these 3 indicators?

Franco

Just got an email from Infinity Futures on a free KP webinar with details as follows.

Disclosure: I am not an Infinity Futures customer or a KP subscriber and will not benefit in any aspects.

Webinar: Using Kwik*POP Software to Help Your Futures Trading
Date: June 24, 2010
Time: 3:30 pm CDT
Cost: Free
Presenters: Wayne Harrison and Richard Raschdorf, Kwik*POP
Registration Link: https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/774689235

Kwik*POP software identifies how to target an HPL or LPH, which are trading patterns keyed to price and volume momentum reversals observed on a 7,500 volume chart of the ES. These frequently recognized patterns forecast a price move of between 4 ticks to 20 ticks on each set up. In the opinion of some traders these patterns are considered to be reliable. Serious traders have the potential to help advance their trading skills by learning these patterns. On June 24, Dick and Wayne will show you how Kwik*POP software identifies these patterns and how to target an HPL or LPH set up for trade execution.

All attendees to this event will be given a FREE two week trial download of Kwik*POP software for Sierra Charts powered by free price data from Infinity Futures. All attendees will also be invited to 6 one hour training sessions on how to use the Kwik*POP indicators during your two week trial. The training sessions are also FREE.
