Beth, I love your innocence, sincerity, and integrity. I would like nothing more than to see you make your millions and then some.

QP is no better than tossing a two sided coin.

Thanks Zoe for your kind compliments and best wishes!

Since I tried KP for almost two months, it does have pros and cons like many other systems. IMHO, traders account for their trading results as long as their system has certain merits and good signals/set-up.

I mentioned in my earlier post that I will watch out for KP Special/Open House etc. Unfortunately I've never received any newsletters from KP even I filled in a pop-out box in their website back in Nov. Well, I played a messenger role and shared the Webinar information just in case some members want to explore it further.

Happy & Successful Trading!

Beth

Last year the folks at Kwik Pop came out with something called a Black Box Builder for back testing. I would appreciate it if any users of this could share their experience with this and how the forward testing compared to the back testing.
Has it help with your trading?

I too would like to know if anyone has tried their Black Box builder and even just without the BBB. Has anyone been profitable?

I still have the "group A" annual package which includes three instrument basic JS services lines, KPSonar (a signal program), the kp indicators and the black box.

I can't say much about black box except that I tried it once. It seems like basically a .dll that adds on to Ninja which allows one to make a strategy using KP indicators and some logic comparison testing for the indicators. I just tried the basic default and the single backtest I tried came out close to breakeven.

Since I'm a discretionary manual trader I hadn't looked back on it. I just wanted to make sure it worked as part of my package which expires in the summer. ( I had bought it last year because of CJBooth's private traderoom. I had already made back the cost then , so I'm not complaining even though now I don't really use the kp indicators anymore. I don't think groupA is offered anymore..) Probably another KP user who likes doing strategies and automation would have much more to say about it. I can say the black box .exe is really small and it doesn't seem to take hardly any extra resources from Ninja or windows.

thanks for replying. Have you used the KP indicators much? If so much did you have success? I have used a demo from their site but it seems bit bit too "busy" too much going on the screen.

Your welcome ibrown. Actually I don't think I even use them anymore or really look at them. I used them for CJBooth's setups last year, but his setups rarely come now. He stopped doing the room this Feb. And I find my trading style is far more different and short term than waiting up to hours for his setups now. I'm using more often than not Perry's method continuation using the indicators by Erez in the elite area. I also look for price action reversals usually off of the bollinger bands which I found I still use instead of the KP pivot lines.

Here's an indicator very similar to the KP eband indicator. "stderrorsmoothv2.zip"
Standard Error Bands smoothed ? - [AUTOLINK]NinjaTrader[/AUTOLINK] Support Forum

Set the period to 30 and smoothing to 20, then set all the colors to transparent in "BandColors" except "middlecolor" and all the colors in "Plots" to transparent except "Middle". Then it's almost exactly like KP's eband. It's some kind of linear regression band which acts as somewhat of a dynamic support and resistance curve. You will see often price bounces off the center band before breaking through, or bouncing under or off it when trending out.

At this point would I continue my subscription with KP once it's ended? Sadly no. I find I don't really use the kp indicators anymore. Their kpsonar signals aren't cp enough for me. Their entries taking every HPL or HPH entry are just discretionary guidelines and always lag by a bar or two so it's easy to get whiplashed by consecutive hpivots if not aware of context. In general in tight ranges, kp indicators like most indicators dont' help much. If you read wgreenie/Beth's journal it looks like she journaled using the kp indicators for a while.

Kwikpop has a live trading room , mainly ES, where guests can attend. They don't do live signals. Once a week or so they will have a presentation usually by Wayne. A few people might say they they are taking trades sometime.
Good luck.

Saw then when I took a demo of Esignal last year.

Decided I didn't want to do business with a vendor whos name sounded like a Candy Bar.

Wayne and Dick, the owners of KP, are two of the more honest people in this business. I have been following them for years. The indicators are difficult to learn but they do a lot of training. They dont promise the Grail but just the opposite, regulary reminding people of real world results. I think the BBB has a great future, its not there yet but they are working on it with upgrades coming out often.
I have no current affilation with KP.

"
yiiman -

Anyone used the kwikpop trading ssystem,

what are youir views and experiences.Surely those indicators theu use are all available here.
"

The KP indicators are proprietary and protected. They're not available outside of a subscription.

I would suggest don't bother with it. A lot of indicators here on nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) work just as well. I had them for over six months
using CJBooth's method. Found out later I didn't need them at all. Their signal service software "sonar" had
mostly losers every day or net losses. In the trading room there are no calls. Just a presentation a couple of
times a week for an hour or so. Last I saw the trading room was open for everyone for a while if you want to see
it in action.

Here's a thread where wgreenie journaled her trading which includes some kwik-pop journaling.
