Why not share openly? Assuming of course you are not affiliated with this vendor in any way.

I'll give my assessment from 2 '1 day trials'--openly {as I always do with my posting history}.

They utilize a 2 unit strategy and take off 1st contract @ either +5 or +10 cents and then run towards targets.

The main guy who calls trades has knack for good trading; highly specialized and I mean HIGHLY specialized language.

They do provide a PDF of much 'not all' of their verbiage.

He really likes the big numbers to target (.50 cent and 1.00 levels).

One won't hit all his trades (sometimes they are split second for entry).

I have to say though the guy that calls the trades and the guy that you can message for further help are both very cool and one can ask questions while IN a trade--but you have to follow the format--the guy that is making the calls is doing 100% analysis while in the room--so you have to respect his ability to sniff out good trades.
---------------
Here's a transcript I wrote to myself during my last trial. And also the official room transcript.

They should thank me; I probably will get them some business but I am NOT recommending nor am I not recommending their trading.

I did not sign up for their month nor purchase their method. This is my personal opinion of my unique experience on 4/20/11
--------------------------------------
Slow day and he took off just after 10:30am est and then came back @11:51am est.

Alot of specialized chat for people that are trading his method.

I saw a few calls.

1) @9:11am est he called for a 'fade' sell @108.10

Initial targets were 5 cents and 30 cent profit targets. He then adjusted the 2nd target down to take profit near 50cents. It went +.47cents max

So this trade made 5cents and probably around +40 cents total (split the difference); as he warned of support coming into the +50cents area.

2) @9:20am est he called for aggressive sellers can sell @107.90 for 5/15 (take profits at +5cents and +15cents). This trade made +5cents and then stopped at -5cents for b.e. total

3) @10:30am est he called for a sell of spike @108.25. 5/15

So this trade made +5cents and +15cents total.

He then took a long break from 10:35 to 11:51am est.

Here are some of my notes (below).
---------------------------------------
Aggressive sell @107.90

Narc: He was projecting down to 107.63 earlier--that was hit.

He said you could fade (short) @108.10. that was a nice trade.

Finally, partials for 5cents and 30cents could be moved to more
than 30cents--up to 50cents. He had an original short @107.90 that I am not sure of.

High risk sell @35:00 on camtasia. Sell 2 @.90 5/15 profit taking.
Then he writes for a 30 profittaking on 3rd contract @.30cents
O
ne would have gotten +5cents/-5 cents for breakeven on this aggressive trades.

Generally his calls have been good thus far. I don't see any official
trades for a room trader. Saw an aggressive short.

He was calling for an abcde ending pattern 108.20. The hook lows
@9:33 were never breached--thus he said we would go higher.
@10:30 he called a 'selling the spike' trade. Oil was @108.25 and he called it a measured spike on the 1/2 hour and 10:30am est close.

He wrote 5/15 and that is take 5cents profit and 15 cents profit. It was a winner on both.

Dry was only going to help me with questions on the lingo. But researcher cover a big part of that with his post.
Just want to clarify that dry did not offer to go into info related to their secret sauce.

Well the only way I am affiliated with them is by a membership. Yes I bought the course, and pay the room fee per month. They are very good at what they do, they teach very well and are excellent traders with a lot of passion, very hard to find now a days.

I do believe you need to work hard and pay for what you learn and earn. If someone on here is looking to get a free copy of the course, then no I am not willing to share this openly. They spent a lot of time on the course, they deserve to get their share and reward for it and I will not just give a hand out.

It is a cost of doing business, this is a business so treat this way, pay your dues. Give them a try for a month or two, then you will know for yourself, all I can say it is certainly worth it.

Thanks

Does this method that they teach only work on CL? If so, how come?

Thanks.

Well in the room and in their advanced training method course it is geared towards CL. They rarely ever trade anything else in the open room hours, this is not to say that maybe on their own time they do not trades other instruments.

You would have to contact them directly to find out if it can be applied to anything other than CL.

These guys are calling trades after the fact.

They now post the trades as they are supposedly taken, on a 5 minute chart instead of using shorthand in the chat. An email was sent out touting the new system showing a 99.74 long call at 9:08:12. I pulled up a smaller time frame chart and you can see that the last touch of 99.74 came a minute earlier at 9:07:08 but you probably wouldn't have gotten filled, even if you had your order in.

I'm new to this website, and to trading cl. Going on 5 moths. I too am a member of the bontrade trade room, and purchased their course. In response to aircal's post, the main trader makes many great calls in the chat. They are currently testing posting calls on tradeboard vs chat window. If there was a delay that day, for whatever reason, it's definitely an exception to the norm. Like researcher247 said, "One won't hit all his trades (sometimes they are split second for entry).". Besides, they emphasize an education (yes, one has to buy the course to understand the concepts) more than merely following the main trader's calls.

Thus they equip you to understand the calls, and sometimes make them yourself, not just follow a call. There are other traders in room who post their own calls. Anyone who's been in the room for a full 1-2 days will realize this.

I endeavor to be as objective as possible, and don't mind playing devil's advocate. I've benefited from this forum, and wanted to contribute to a fair review of Bontrade.

Respectfully,

elmatador1973 (aka Manny)

I sent the chart from my earlier post to Scott at Bontrade. At first he brushed me off, but then he gave me a code for a trial in the room so I could check it out live.

I was in there twice this week and Manny is correct, the trader does make some great calls. Yesterday (5/12) one trade went for over $1, although you had to have the stones to watch it go 19 ticks against you before heading in the right direction.

Some of the trades were too fast for me to get in.

After making a few posted trades, the trader and the members revert back to speaking in 'lingo', so as Manny says, you would need to take the course to really make it work for you.

Summary: good room, but you need a large account.
