Ok So I need to decide on some setup rules for each side.
Murray:
Buy if:
Murry line holds
CCI 17 on 5 min has turned up
Stop:
50% of way between lines:
(e.g 3/8 110.94 to 2/8 109.38 ==> 3/16 110.16)
Target= Next line
(e.g 3/8 so next line is 5/8 = 114.06 )
Other suggestions of setup rules welcome - this is a "just for fun" group trading thread.
Please feel free to post your setup rules with a screensnaps of trades you made (before and after if possible) , with entry price, stop price , target price and exit price market on the chart and the time frame of the chart.
(exit price if not the same as target or stop pls add a note why).
Here is a snap of before fo today Monday 11 Apr 2011
"I posted 2 examples of CL and murray math in a new thread. It is just for fun and to encourage an experiment in group co-operative trading. The idea is that anyone who wants to can post their setup rules and then track their trades one a day with before and after screensnaps, target and stop."
Perhaps you would like to trade the setup you posted and put the results in this thread?
(or your own thread if you prefer)
I wanted to have some fun with this and have different people trade Murray with the setup they like.
To keep it simple just trade one contract (or report the average entry price - less average exit price).
Goal is one trade a day per game player - more if you like.
perhaps with the collective genius of futures.io (formerly BMT) we can cut and splice, try and refine and develop something for the benefit of the whole board. I welcome your participation - and others in a group trading exercise.
"Actually, the real basic version is as follows:
1. Sell at 7/8 line, buy back at 4/8 line.
Use stop loss at 8.320 of 1/8 line.
2. Buy at 1/8 line, sell at 4/8 line.
Use stop loss at -0.320 of 1/8 line."
Rule 2.:
Do you subtract 0.320 from the 1/8 line for the stop?
