Hey bob, I've been watching documentaries about 9/11 and the people on the ground during and after the event. Were you in the city on that day?

I've also been transitioning to the 30min candle. It's hard to ditch the smaller time frames, but I get way caught up in the noise.

crazy day , and im kinda worn out.Once again, if i take every entry , i should be fine.I have been trying to understand what scenario to let the runner really go.Looking at eurusd, the entry at 8:30 was preceded by a HH and a HL.Im sure there was something else, but in my simple world, that makes sense.Looking at the audusd, i tried to fade this scenario, and failed twice....going forward , anytime price tries to come back into value, if it closes 1 pip inside value, and there is room to vwap, that qualifies as an entry.Any fade at hod/lod requires 10 pip risk or less, stop beyond hod/lod.For eacc trade, if it fails once, a max of 2x will be it.There was a fade on the usdjpy(long) that failed initially, then gave off another buy candle at new lod which went to vwap.thats fine.As usual, i will review at the eod, (11 am here),and try to take something away from today

Ok, so i have essentially been trying to do 2 types of trades.Coming back into value, i like to enter as long as there is room to vwap. The other, is a fade off the hod/lod.1st things 1st.im no longer looking to fade.Too much guessing.Sure, they can work, but im focussing way too much on this, and im missing/passing on the value trades, which make sense to me..so here is the tally for this weeks available value trades in the 6 pairs that i follow from 3 am to 11 am.
19 acceptable entries that would have been taken.
15 of these worked
3 were taken......what?
too busy lookin at fades, and losing sight of reality...another week/month /year wasted...oh wait....decade

Hey bobarian whats your plan for the week? What levels have you got, what news events are you watching out for, what scenarios you got lined up, and what will you do if some of them play out?
Its not like Im trying to get you to do all the hard work and I just copy you or anything like that.... ahem.

Right you are Grantx. Here are my 6 hour charts. The horizontal lines are areas to look for entries. The shaded boxes are zones that i used to draw .They are areas where price moves quickly away from, and if we make a new swing lo or hi, a pb to this zone usually is a nice entry. For news, i check each morning, on the forex calender. If there is something noteworthy, i wont typically enter a trade just before it.I will never try to interperit any type of event.Thats what i have for today. For tomorrow, i will be aware of the levels i noted for each chart, and see how it goes

I havent drawn lines in quite a while, im sure i missed a bunch!
