oct 24..YM opens well above range /value.Off the open , ym is just above sd1..nice buy candle, and it left without me.Ym pushed further into sd1.5,then came back to test value.I have a sell candle marked, and it worked fine.didnt take.
trade 1..short on 2nd pb to sd1/rth mid.+8..cut this short, target should have been OP.
trade 2..long,off buy candle OP/30min5.This was the trade to take...target should have been NHOD.However, would have covered at sell candle at sd1...ym looks like its having a hard time pushing higher.+6..this was a killer, as i should have had atleast +20
trade 3..and trade 4 were shorts...just not a good idea.
Ym finallly dipped below a support area just below sd1, and gives a great buy candle.
End the day -$5 after comm.Poorly managed 2 trades , and the last 2 were just stupid.Yhe long just below support not taken. It is very easy to see the leaves on the 1min,and not the forrest. The

open in value /in range.Ym came down to some support from the ON on the 30min.
trade 1.long,vwap was flat, my thought was we would test below sd-1, then, then move to sd1.With a flat vwap, I typically disregard it.30 min emas correct for a short however.Anyway, I am considering adding if it goes against me.The way i figure ,if it comes within a few ticks of my stop, add 1,and cover my risk on the pop .This happened twice today. If i get stopped, the add is only -3,no big deal. However, if i can quickly cover my risk,it becomes much easier to be patient to focus on target. The benifit of doing this, is if i get my 1st scale covering risk and the trade fails, its a scratch ,not a loss.Looking towards the future, trading more contracts , this will make a big difference
trade 2...ym reaches just beyond sd-2,and a sell candle gets me in.If I would have added, once again, 3tick risk,i would have held for a NLOD.+9

I can seee its mentally frustrating working with 1 contract, but im not using this as an excuse for poor management
breakeven after commiss
all sim till 2 weeks positive

YM opens in range /value
trending up but late in the move. This is a scenario that ive struggled with...I want to trade correctly, and be disciplined, but when its a trend situationthat just starts, its game on.I had 2 CT setups at NHOD that were good i thought. The 2nd short was at yhod to boot.Ok, so we come back down, and dip back into value. In my mind, trying to "trade correctly",i looked at this as an overshoot, and lets head back up to test HOD.Wrong!Well ,in hindsight, the battle for the sd1 chopped me to pieces.
long at NLOD//OP/ONH/30min5 was fine.I took 12 ticks, to get some back. However, the 5min keyed off a buy on the 12:00 candle...and this shot up into the sd1.5,and ran out of steam.
Ended the day -$110 after com,all sim.
Going forward,i will recognize a trend situation, but if its extended, and there is confluence, i will do some

open in value/range, 30 min mas poised for lower
YM shot down below yest range, into sd-2
5min hammer buy candle was the first heads up for a coil up to test sd-1.The 1min did not give me a buy candle, but the 5min hammer at loes im thinking was good enough to have a naked order on a pb ,all i have to do is choose wheere .I always like to keeep risk low, so the buy order could be placed accordingly, and the stop would be a NLOD.Also, once the 5min closed inside value, again, looking for a 1min entry. This came at 9:58,which was a pb into a 5min engulfing candle that closed inside value.I didnt take, still observing as ive misinterpereted this many times.Anyway, the destination for this is opposing value(sd1).good confluence there, put a naked short at sd1/nhod/30min15.+15 on that.As I mentioned , 30 min mas were poised for short activity, so my question is, if we fail at 30min 15, do i look to get back under 30min5, and short the pb....this would have worked well/////or , hold a runner with this in mind.....of course , ym could start to rotate, the entry at 30min5 was 2nd pb after nhod....would rather it was first,
+$70 sim....
finish week below zero...need to weeks positive results for back to live

open at yest hod,ym sells off into sd-3.Looking for shorts on pbs.
1)naked short....-5 going forward, naked entries will have 10 tick sl.This choppped me and went 28 ticks, back down to sd-3.
2)long....wtf??-11..reversal setup that wasnt there.
3)naked short missed , entered lat,chopped -7....went 18 from correct short entry.
4Long on reversal setup/5min Buy Candle..target vwap(eth or sd1 destination trade..had trouble at ycod,close for +20
5) long late entry,sd-1 and ma after reversal, want to head up to eth vwap -5
-$70 after comm, sim till 2 weeks positive,if i can ever actually be here for the entire session, perhaps this could happen for me...wah
The only positive thing I take from today, is i am commiting to 10 tick

had a cl trade and 2 ym trades.
I had the context wrong on the ym.The 1st pb to eth vwap in the rth session was just a buy.Brcause it made a LL,I was all about the short...but...it just reached for the vwap, and shot to new highs. Also, there were shorts at the highs,1min vol spikes, sell candles on 1 and 5 min.I am trying to watch cl and ym, and im missing too much.So moving forward, ill follow ym only and see if i can dial into the order flow. Each day, im making some good and bad trades.
The last short

Damn good idea. Im interested to see how you go with this. I encountered the same thing as you where I was missing too much by flipping back and forth between instruments. Now I only look at one instrument. Far easier
