Welcome to my journal. Posting for the world to see, keeps one in tune with oneself. I will be posting videos of my trades to keep my edge sharp, and maybe make a few friends along the way. Any observations are appreciated. We all want to become better traders and keeping a journal is a fine way to keep track of progress.
Getting a jump on the March 1st kick off I will post a few just to get warmed up and to get the feel of posting videos. This is a trade I took this morning on the 6E. A nice run from the 76% retracement going up to the 100% extension with a 50% retracement along the way. The video is in 2 parts because You Tube only allows 15 min for new accounts. The video is 20 min. cut into 2 parts.
I edited your youtube link you -- it is broken. You need to click on an actual YouTube video, then copy the URL from there and paste it like so into your post [yt]http://youtube.com/urlhere[/yt]

Need help? 1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first. 2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses. 3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make. 4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance. 5) Where to start as a trader? Great way to start your journal Horst. Awesome Trade!!! What time would you recommend to trade the 6E? I just started looking at 6E and trying to decide when would be best to trade. I live in central time zone and work during day beginning at 8 and would like to trade to help supplement.

I look at the 6E as part of my repertoire. I've seen it look good at all times. It's the first product I look at when I open my charts whenever I am looking for a trade. It's been good to me at all hours of the day and night. Even at 2am if its not ready for a setup just wait 20 min.

Took a long weekend and did not trade Fri. Came back this morning raring to go.
I took 3 trades, made 1 gift. Traded the CL as it was showing me a great entry for 1 trade. Then took 2 trades on the TF . We had some quick bars and I didn't get filled on 2 attempts. Lazy finger syndrome I guess
but.entered at the wrong area for 1 gift, then found the gold vein at the 50% retracement from the larger time frame. Finished with 5.1 nuggets for 75 min trading.

Traded the 6E this morning, only because it started moving earlier than the TF. Started out with 1 BE and 3 gifts before I zeroed in on the entry. The BB's were saying the entry was at the 76% when in fact it changed its mind and used the 89% as a launching pad. Nice run down that didn't need to be scaled out at the 62% ext...... BB's didn't ask for the covering of 1/2. I will keep closer tabs on that in the future. All in all, a good morning with 2.7 nuggets in 50 min of trading.
