I've been using MacBB as an indicator for a long time, the combination of timeframes If you ever decide to start to trade with real money, I'll lend you some, if you give me a good return

This is a site where there are many Journals, most people are struggling to be even minimally profitable, and the majority of people Journaling are losing. To be expected with trading, since we know something like 90% of people fail at it.

When someone posts a journal up, goes for 3 weeks without a single losing day, and averages around $4,000 a day, of course questions are going to be asked about its legitimacy. Then when it is known to be connected to a vendor, even more suspicion is added.

I am not trying to say this Journal is fake, I have no idea, from watching the videos Horst seems genuine to me... But I am just trying to point out a skeptical response is quite a natural thing to such an anomalous event. (A HIGHLY profitable journal)

I am just partcipating in this discussion. What horst is showing and doing I have 100% firm belief on it that he is doing right. As he is different from 90% of traders as he knows what he is doing and doing that with full confidence and belief. So what makes him so profitable, MacdBBs, my answer no, Tick charts, my answer no, The only thing that makes him profitable is mind over matter. If some one contol unconscious mind than he can be successful just like driving a car and Horst.

Hello all, I did a trade Fri. morning but never got around to posting the video. I will be back in the office on Monday and possibly will post it then. There has been a lot of negativity on this journal lately and those of you who are on my wavelength understand that this is one element that must be buffered from ones mind. The key to consistency in trading is to maintain that constant level of positive mental energy flowing. Knowing the technicals is trumped 10 fold by the mentalism required to trade successfully. It has taken me a long time to reach this plateau, and it will not be jeopardized.

The purpose of my journal is to help me refine my trading techniques, and I thank Big Mike for allowing me the privilege of keeping my journal here. This is an attempt to pay it forward by putting my journal out there.

After years of frustration, struggle and blown trading accounts I am finally at the level of consistency that allows me to say I am profitable. Whether anyone believes this, doesn't fall into my area of concern. I am not here to prove anything to anyone except myself. I appreciate all the love and support I am receiving from all of you, and I am honored that you would like to watch my vids. On the other hand if you have a heckling nature, please keep it to yourself.

Making videos, I have found has been a blessing for the simple fact that you are talking through your trades. What you are thinking at that particular time, is there for you to go back and re-evaluate. Everyone at one point or another has said.......well if that trading coach is so successful, why does he need to teach people to earn his money?......I for one have said this, but did not realize the answer until it actually was proven to me. Making videos is the same as teaching someone (yourself). What you see, feel and expect to happen next while trading, is being processed mentally and emitted verbally. You are putting your thoughts out there verbatim into the universe. The essence of that action makes it real and not just a passing thought. You are explaining, reinforcing, teaching yourself openly and orally. The greatest benefit of teaching someone is the fact that you yourself stay sharp and advance as a trader in the process. I have seen many coaches grow exponentially as a result. Wanna learn how to trade better? Teach someone. Start with yourself through videos.

Horst,

You can see that your journal has only been around for about a month. I am sure you will soon be passing me on hits, etc.. There is a devout interest in what you are doing. Please keep sharing as it inspires us.

Thanks!

... Everyone at one point or another has said.......well if that trading coach is so successful, why does he need to teach people to earn his money?......

I for one have never bought into the old cliche, "Those that can, do. Those that can't, teach". EVERY great performer in EVERY discipline has a coach or in some cases, a whole coaching staff. In my eyes, selling a book, chat room, coaching services, etc. in no way diminishes the information being sold. The question is, does that coach's style resonate with you? Are they an effective teacher? Are they helping you? Information has a cost - whether it's through a service or your own time, pain and suffering. There are no free lunches.

My only (very minor) criticism of this journal is the proprietary nature of the signals. I understand the reasoning for it, but because I don't exactly understand why you are doing things, the journal isn't useful to me as a trading tool. It is useful as a motivator because seeing success is inspiring.

Keep up the good work.

There is major interest in this thread. I'm glad that you are able to look past certain posts from certain users. Don't forget you can ignore certain members. Just click on username and press "Ignore nxxxxxp". You may not need that since you're already able to filter them out, but it helps visually reduce the number of insignificant posts.

Thanks for the support Tiger45, There are a few people that trade the macdbb's and if they watch closely they will pick up a few characteristics to look for, I feel bad you aren't one of them. But as long as you find them inspirational that makes me smile. It might seem like a long road, but the destination is within driving distance.:car:

Thanks Ros, I didn't know that. I'm sure I won't need to use it, but now I know just in case.
