The DAX was playing hard to get yesterday, but today was a different story. I was wearing my lederhosen and drinking warm beer, and it finally decided to come around Short and sweet for 7.2 euro nuggets.

No Jeff, they are all like my little children. I love them all the same. They all have different characteristics, but I love each and every one just the same as the next. Alone they are not as strong as they are together. In unison they are an army that is tough to beat. They play like a symphony, and if they play a tune I like, I waltz to their music.

Love the way you worded that. hah. Nice.

Recently I have been corresponding with a friend who is claiming that he is having a lot of success trading the TF with "New Futures trading", I'm skeptical of the claims. Has anybody had any experience with these people? lookn4ddeal

A few years back, he was Masters Palace.
His psych ideas are good and may help.

But if you are hoping to trade like Henry... It would be rare.

Everyone if not all, could in no way trade with the same precision using no indicators(so to speak)
everyone I know went on searching for more methods.

Check out the MacdBB Posts and ask other like Steve, He still uses MacdBBs only.
I'm almost throwing out the MacdBBs in favor of Stochastics and MovingAverages combined.

I still don't know how Henry does it with such a lagging indicator as MacdBB. At one point a few years later, a few of us in the class thought that he remarked his trades that he posted.... You know he never trades live.

This is on TS forums.
Caveat emptor, nothing against Horst he seems to play with real money by looking at his acct number on NT.

What is your point, Neil ?

If one person struggles with trading under a mentor, that alone justifies a "caveat emptor" ?

neil, some people will be skeptical of ANY success because they themselves aren't able to reproduce it. What do you want to do, go to Horst's bank and watch him withdraw his money? Then check each $100 bill to be sure it isn't counterfeit? Seriously, I've rarely ever seen even vendors post videos with their DOM up, much less one with a non-sim account. Can people just be happy that someone who makes money is actually sharing their success with the world?

Horst,

I realize the FDAX was consolidating, but why did you jump on that one? Seems like you had a lot of sep and no area? Just curious.

Good trading!

'nothing against Horst he seems to play with real money by looking at his acct number on NT'

like I said,New futures trading wants 7-10K for mentorship thus my CEmptor. Horst is trading with real money as you can see from his DOM,the man is honest. The Henry guy at new futures has a dubious background and motive for someone too charge 7-10 K for learning the MACD BB indicator and Fibonacci retracement methods is a RIP OFF. Nothing new here,we see it all day with Futures trading, one just has to Google. I was on his trial for a week and he would tell the prospective clients you will get the indicator after signing up! FOFF.
He also seems to gearing towards Indian traders for some reason, maybe he thinks they dont have the Internet in India and read about Futures trading classes/rooms.

Neil, I also took the trial and found it to be helpful, and heard Henry say on at least one occasion that the indicators were just macds and bollinger bands, and it's not like you can't tell anyway. No where is it promoted to be a "secret" indicator... time and time again, I heard it emphasized that it's about the psychology of the trade, HOW you use your indicators and price action, and so on.

We each did the trial, we each had vastly different experiences obviously. If you don't like the price, by all means, don't pay it, set up your own indicators, and trade however you like. (that's currently what I'm trying to do). No doubt Horst has found his investment worthwhile as it's already paid for itself plus lots more. Others may have found no success at all. If someone wants to try this, that's what the 7 day trial is for. I'm no moderator and sorry Horst for jumping in your journal here, but neil, I'm asking sincerely if you can take your beef to a new thread? In fact, there is a thread already started, just search for it. Please, let's keep it out of this thread.

Best wishes and sincerely,
Josh
