Hmm, yes I should probably also stop fighting my natural tendency to stay up late and just trade something like the 6E. I am always worried about not being able to find enough volume in any other instrument, but perhaps my fears are unjustified.

I think the 6E and Eurex contracts have enough volume. They seem to be active when I am looking to trade. I am trying to get a 'feel' for how they trade.

They do seem to be influenced by the US market a lot more than I thought. The 6E slows down around lunch time in London.

Today was interesting. It was pretty choppy in the 6E with a report coming out. It seems like everyone was sitting on the sidelines waiting for the report to come out. Just stood on the sidelines and after that huge move it was chop.

I was watching the FESX since the 6E was just strange. My setup only had one setup in the FESX. The volatility was low and the volume was low, so I passed. I am just taking a look to figure out what the best time of day to trade.

I normally do not like trading Fridays in the first place, but Friday my Ninjatrader install was hosed.

I was pretty frustrating, but as of now, it seems like I will be back to trading on Monday.

SO are there many other traders here who trade from the Pacific time zone ? Any comments or suggestions on trading early in the morning ( US) or late at night (Eurex )
