Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

Nice. Do you automate all the trading?

@eminikelvin

Thanks.

I automate (that is compute with formulae) all my estimates of price and time.
Then I try to select the right ones for the day.
I think getting the first end correct is the key and sometimes a struggle to get it.

So I would enter the orders (manually) and then when I get close use indicators and price action to trigger the trade.

My "system" is designed for days of 12 pts or more - so little narrow days like these - I would trade sim. - or just do more work on my system.

Good trading to everyone.

gann on 3 min chart

Futures Edge on FIO

Which products do you trade?

1 x 1 supported upmove and when it came back and touched it and then bounced breaking the downtrend line and then with one full bar above the up 4 x1 from ZC retrace is over and time to go long.

tuesday

I'm trying to get up earlier and go to bed on time - so late right now

I posted several videos in a thread "Video Tips and Tricks" - doesn't seem to get much interest.

I'm working on trying to find time for visualizations. - seems tough for me to do.

I've been off for a few months - back taxes and then catching up on my stats gathering and updating of my spreadsheets. So I'm back trading on the sim and when I can make 25pts in a week I switch to cash.
25pts *$50 = $1250
Monday $29
Tuesday $247 (I was at +400 and then wanted the extra $100 was up $86 and went to the washroom came back and down $169)

Not pleased with my trading as I had FE=HE and a price of 1975.50.
With an open of 1972.25
and dir30 upto 1974.00 it was a slam dunk to get to 75.50

Oh well tomorrow..
