My router failed this morning in the middle of a great trade, was up over a point. By the time I got back online, it was at BE. I'm done for a while, heading back to bed. Only had 5 hours of sleep.
Ok, here goes a new week. Replacement router is configured and set up, working fine. Took a nice break from market news and it was much needed. I felt a bit on overload with everything I've got going on here, but have my priorities straight.
My first trade of the week is a long and it hit my goal but given the strength of the move I thought to wait out the move but saw selling pressure come in and I closed out at +18 ticks. It went up two more ticks then reversed down and is now chopping. So, good trade I think. Volume was really low on the minute chart, so a good trade took a long time to develop. I got the first swing up and had to hold through resistance to get the second swing momentum. I did place a closing order thinking it would reverse on me but I canceled that as all my fundamentals were still there.

My apologies for not being more in-depth with my journal, but going through the last few pages, I think it'll be kinda obvious as to how I trade, roundabouts. Markets change daily and so my style remains fluid so I can capitalize on sideways moves and the trends. Time for me to get in all that I need and want to share is becoming more and more scarce. I've started a company, am still trading, working 40+ hrs a week, and prepping for a baby. Busy busy world, but I'd have it no other way.
No trading today, will simulate tomorrow. Thanks!

1st trade of the day, +20. If I'd stayed in...dammit...I would have had another 15 or so. But, perhaps I would have ended up with just +15. And this time, slippage worked in my favor. I entered the short at 836.0 and it filled at 836.2. Closed out at 834.2.

-6 ticks today. The morning chop killed my early positioning with its undulations but it appears I was right in the overall general direction. Chop was just murder on my overall gain though. Today would have been a day to get off the 1 min chart and see the 3-5 min chart as the movement was much clearer there.
I could make another trade to get in the money, but I need to get some OT in at work.

I got fired last week for saying a vulgar word. Not to a customer or towards any person, but just as a phrase, like WTF. Turns out the company was being pressured to let go of people and due to my raises and promotion, I was the highest paid person on the team and so they used that to let me go.
Wife, with baby on the way, is super worried and rightfully so. Pushing forward with trading is not in my families best interests at the moment. Most of last week was spent using contacts to find another job and I have a potential interview this week for a job that starts next Monday. Ensuring our ability to move forward in life is my priority and trading is secondary. That said, i WILL still be become a successful trader and do that full time. I feel that is my future and will do my utmost beyond providing for my family's basic needs to progress down that road.
Today I am up 10 ticks in sim.
