So that job was a bust. It was a contractor for a company which shut that position down a week after I got into it. Found a different job, but that company paid incredibly poorly but had great people. But with a son on the way (6 weeks!), I need to be able to provide for him securely with everything I do and that job just didn't cut it. Found another job with a 50% pay raise and jumped on it. Been here two weeks and I love it. Great people, great atmosphere, and the company JUST went public last month .

I've been out of the markets as trading would be a detriment to my trading acct, even moreso on my wife's pregnant psyche. Right now, with this position, I will be able to work and let her stay home with our child. I've got to do things right for him and us and will work back into trading when feasible. I really feel like trading will give me the freedom to live how I wish.

While I was looking for those 3 weeks, I started my own company as well. Got a web designer, drafted up the Articles of Incorporation, and just finished our logo. Next up is to manage the content I've written and start building business relationships. I'm a busy guy, but I love it Now it's five and I've gotta

Many thanks to the site and all the contributors. Great source of info.

Watching the market, staying out, and am glad for part of it. Yesterday seemed to be a day of chop but today was a beautiful curve on 10 min. But, it is what it is. Also on my new work computer I don't have my trading program set up, nor am I looking to any time soon, if at all. If the time comes, I'll be using a tablet w/ 4G connection for the trades. Once stabilization occurs I'll be back to the trading world and until then, simulation it is. I do miss the trading though....

But with a son on the way (6 weeks!)

So about that...my son, Ilario, decided that 35 weeks was enough and was born yesterday. I'm now an INCREDIBLY happy father, husband, and man. Looks like I'll be home for a few weeks w/ paternity leave....
