Fascinating thread TRO . I have read through to # 35 so far and am working on the rest . Keep it up , I appreciate your sharing and straightforwardness even if it involves untangling your statements ( my handicap , not yours ).

I'd like to 2nd your sentiments Eric, since TRO introduced this way of looking at the market, with price either going up or down and just reading the price candles instead of all the indicators that I have become accustomed to, I feel a bit more free to actually look at what price is doing rather than what an indicator is trying to tell me. Keep drilling it TRO it's beginning to sink in.

I am curious though about working on the RAT reversal, are you testing something else out?

Thanks,

Jeff

Yeah , TROs a real influence for sure . What he's taught me in a short amount of time is that you have to have something that works for you , learn whatever it is that you use thoroughly without giving up on it the first day it doesnt produce , and dont believe all the crap others try to impose on you .

I would love to but there seems to be a few people on this forum that would rather see me banned. They are constantly nitpicking over my use of all caps, large fonts and/or colors. They claim my posts are off-topic and that I have a need for constant attention. I have received more than 3 times the thank-yous that they have in less than half the time. Think they're a little jealous? If you want to continue to read my posts on Big Mike then I suggest you contact the forum admins and let them know that you do not want to see me banned.

The rat reversal is similar to the rat trade except price does not have to be within 20 pips of the bottom. Remember, it doesn't matter what the reason is for entering a trade because it has no effect on the outcome.

Attention, this is the smallest font available. I hope someone doesn't find it too hard to read.

It is quite possible that some of those others do not want me to influence you here on Big Mike. I am catching a lot of flak. Why? Big fonts, all caps, bold colors. Some people just do not like my style and want to use that as an excuse to ban me. They want me to "conform". Do you think you can make money as a trader if you conform? Go ahead, be my guest and conform if you want to be like the 95% of traders that lose. For those of you who want to win: be a rebel, never give up, never give in and never conform.

What is price action?

Let's take a look....

Most trading charts are 2 dimensional. Price on the vertical or Y-axis and time on the horizontal or X-axis.

Price either moves up or down. The distance price moves over a period of time would be its speed or velocity. The distance price covered from high to low would be its range.

Therefore, price action would be the movement of price over a period of time and its velocity. In other words, how far did it move and how fast was it moving.

Any other definition complicates the issue and misleads the trader.

Please not I did not use caps, big fonts or colors since some people find that offensive. I am using the smallest font possible, I hope you do not find it difficult to read.

Remember, where the USDJPY, USDCAD and USDCHF were when I last posted. See the profit so far today?

This is the smallest font available. Some people have complained about my old style of posting. If you prefer my old style of posting, please make your voice heard.

Yeah, I know, Boss, I need to get my mind right.

Get your mind right.

What we've got here is failure to communicate.

As traders, we have to have our "minds right". The problem is some people have different ideas of what getting your "mind right" means. And some of those people are not very tolerant of opposing views or different styles.
